Ranked Matchmaking Feel Off To Anyone?

Lately I feel like matchmaking in ranked has been particularly atrocious. I don't know if there are just a lot of people smurfing right now or what but every game lately has been going the same way:

  1. Whatever lane I'm not in gets absolutely dominated without any enemy jungler assistance (losing straight up 1v1s over and over.) If I'm in the jungle then all three lanes get dominated without any ganks from the enemy jungler.
  2. I'm usually able to pick up a few kills wherever I am but its never enough to counteract how fed the other lanes get.
  3. I'm unable to exert any pressure on objectives because of constant roaming and TP pressure from the fed enemy laners.
  4. Usually one teammate by 20 min either rage quits or sells all their items and trolls the rest of the game.

I hate freaking blaming my team for stuff. I always try to focus on the mistakes I make and keep encouraging my team to play safe. I just can't understand why in the vast majority of games my teammates are so ridiculously outclassed. Its not that I think they're bad, I just don't understand why they are so much worse than their lane opponents. I just don't understand it. My win rate is positive but it isn't amazing so I know my MMR isn't that high above my league. I feel like every game my team is just hemorrhaging gold to the enemy team and I'm some field medic just trying to stop the bleeding as much as I can. Why am I constantly getting matched up with teammates who have horrible win rates against teams with very good win rates?

Anyone have an explanation for this or encountering similar issues lately?

I don't understand the matchmaking at all. I play support alot and half the time I have done more damage to champions then any of my laners. I play utility champions and rush sightones. This should really never be the case if the player matchmaking was accurate.

Well match making puts players together to match an average mmr. It's possible that you just happen to be the highest on your team and therefore you have to carry your lower team mates. If you have trouble turning your leads into wins I think you have the right idea as far as laning is concerned. You just need to take a step back and try to figure out what you can do different in mid and late game to win more.

Also really think about what winning lane is in low elo. To me winning lane is my opponent is 2 levels below me missing 40 cs and if we were to team fight or 2v2 they would basically be a non factor. Going even or being 10 cs ahead isn't doing well all you've done is survived lane phase

Good points. I think the problem I'm having is I might be 2/0/2 coming out of the laning phase (as ADC) but the enemy top laner is like 5/0/1 and the enemy mid laner is 6/0/2. And since they are solo laners they are usually a higher level than me too. So even though I'm the most fed person on my team I'm still a thousand gold behind the enemy team's fed players.

I guess the root of the issue is I always feel like if I make one major mistake the game is over but the enemy team is so far ahead that they can make mistake after mistake after mistake and we can never really punish them. If I misposition just a little bit in a team fight its usually a complete ace because I'm the only person doing damage on the team.

Yeah, that might work for the people who troll but a lot of the time my teammates just get outclassed by their opponents. I'm just confused why my teammates are always getting their asses kicked and I'm the only lane that wins.

I know the feels.

So i gave up on Ranked since one game every other day wasn't going to well. And for not having time to play LoL, i decided to just have fun in Normals and try champs i suck with (got to learn some more).

I 've been calling it the riot rig. Don't play solo. I have noticed that if I am waiting for a long time (15 minutes) the rig is on.
