how come Blitz is not nerfed while having 55% since one month already?

where are the Leona nerfs?

17.5% pickrate, 53.2% winrate, picked in LCS, LCK and LPL

where are the Blitz nerfs?

21.8% pickrate, 55.0% winrate, picked in LCS and LCK, not sure about LPL

mind you, this is "NOT a QQ RITO NERF BLITZ AND LEONA PLOX" topic.

this is a "why the hell did you nerf Sona for having an high winrate while there are countless champs who have insanely high winrate while having high pickrate as well, as well as being picked in competitive while Sona was picked an handful of times" topic.

Sona just sucks right now, she was perfectly fine after the rework (read: before the 2 nerfs in a row that made her a Q-bot), and you can clearly see this with competitive picks (not picked not only in LCS, but also in LCK and LPL).

I'd argue that Zyra sucks too since she has yet to be picked since last summer but that's another story.

Because Blitz and Leona make #LC$BIGPLAY$ while Sona stifles them.

Patch 4.13 killed the horse, now Riot is just having their fun flogging its dead body.

Also note those "handful" of picks in pro play have all been losses. She has a 0% win-rate going as far back as season 4 worlds, immediately after the "rework."

Before that, she had a slightly higher pick-rate, maybe double or triple what it is now, which still isn't much considering how low it is. All the meanwhile boasting a slightly better than 50% win-rate.

July 30th has killed her viability in competitive play in the most literal definition.

i mean i'm not 100% sure that the rework killed her, since i used to play her before and she quite sucked honestly, i started picking her after the Q fix (when they actually fixed its range) and damn she rocked the house and i really felt she was strong

right now i don't know, barely does anything

These two statements are at complete odds with each other. Sona was unarguably stronger before the 4.13 nerfs; math proves this, 98% of Sona mains have said this, even a high number of players who only used her occasionally have noticed.

Right now, I can't get a good reading at where your thought process is, but you appear to be in a state of extreme confusion.

Sona had too much harass in the laning phase, and could zone too well. The reason zyra isn't picked is because of mobility issues, both with her and champions she plays against. Sona's abilities are all targeted except for one. That's the one thing you aren't comparing between sona and the rest of the champions you mentioned.

I think the reason they nerfed her was because majority of the players are not in the LCS, and because said players have a hard time dealing with sona. Using the LCS to judge a champion banned for solo q purposes is not really a good judge.

oh forgot no one had any problems with the champion can who invites you into it's team every 10 seconds no one has a problem with the champion who engages on you through creeps and stuns you for 3 seconds

Leona and Blitzcrank zone you by literally just standing there and walking around. The fear for getting hooked by those two is so immense, because if you're something squishy like Sona or Zyra, you /will/ die or burn a flash.

The majority of Sona's poke is in her Q on-hit and passive, which means she needs to get into AA range. You can easily get one or two auto attacks off, her poke style is targeted, but very predictable.

Blitzcrank is counterable (mainly with skill), but I agree that Leona should be nerfed

This is a good example of a strawman argument. The OP is misrepresenting Riot's reasoning for the Sona nerfs to make people think that Sona needs buffs.

dude, we both know that this is just not true

Zyra is oppressive as hell in lane (just trust me, you don't want to lane vs a Zyra) but since her winrate isn't high she is not nerfed (and how the hell would you nerf her more than that honestly?)
