question on kayle builds

xDogMeatx··1 votes·2,840 views

in terms of scaling is ap kayle better than ad kayle in terms of crit/true damage 50% crit apparently is the most optimal choice if your going ap or ad to double your true/magic on hit damage later game. if your really lucky you could get away with 25% crits. main question now is AP or AD? considering the scalings are verrry similar. or just go shredder build with bork/rageblade.

build what you want. shes useless before 11 and demolishes anyone who crosses her path at 16 anyway

i know its a "build what you want" thing but is there a optimal true damage build vs shred hp in itself?

Delays it more than her passive does? And Wit's End actually does not delay her late game at all. She naturally gets magic damage as an on hit from her E, so it combos really well with the MR shred Wit's End offers.

does it convert the wits end damage to true damage?

Well, nothing technically converts damage to true damage by draining stats - but it can deal increased damage if you're attacking someone with low MR that you drop them in the negative.

i mean after lvl 16. does the wits end have magic damage or does it turn to true damage? unless the damage is only applyed on E passive (that can crit).

Kayle doesn't actually convert on-hit damage from items into true damage, just the damage generated by her own passive "Aflame" waves. So Wit's End won't be doing true damage, nor will things like Rageblade or Nashor's Tooth.

so they just amp the damage in a separate calculation? while the "scaling stats" does the true damage (in E).

Well, specifically, the Aflame Waves from her passive is converted to true damage. All other forms of damage she deals is not converted. Her E's passive is two part. It increases the damage of her Aflame Waves per rank. It also adds magic on-hit to her autos.

So for Kayle: Passive: Aflame Exalted - Waves: Converted to True Damage. Increased by points in E. Basic Auto Attack: Physical damage, Not converted to true E - Starfire Spellblade: Magic On-Hit, Not converted to true On-Hit from Items like BoRK, Nashor's, Guinsoo's, Lichbane, etc: On-hit damage the item grants, Not converted to true

item 3065 is excellent as a fourth item, or possibly earlier if you max E > W > Q.

item 3091 is still pretty good.

Other options are item 3046 item 3157 item 3156 item 3026.

I usually go for this route in midlane: item 3285 item 3006 item 3146 item 3046 item 3031 item 3089 ---or--------V---------or--------------------------------------- item 3115 item 3085 item 3100

It's quite hard to decide between Nash and Ludens! While Nash is the CLEARLY better option post 11 - Ludens can really help you out getting there!

Also deciding between IE into Cap or Cap into IE or Cloak into Cap into IE is difficult... everything has pros and cons. But actually testing is doesnt happen since you rarely reach this state of the game to test it! xD

i havent thought of that infinity edge or cap so i say why not both :D since nashors is in there with crit chance with ad its a "everyone wins" in terms of scaling.

I had some luck with item 3078 on her. I find that the Phage passive and the extra HP help with her immense fragility.

thats a great suggestion im actually afraid of it not working with kayle for some unknown reason due to 250hp is not enough for the likes of kayle due to enemy focus/lethality.

I mean, it's not a fix, but it helped. She can use pretty much all of the stats it offers, as well as the Spellblade passive and the Phage passive once she reaches 11.
