ARAM, Rerolling and Reroll stealing

So first up, the new box of rerolled champs is absolutely great. For players that own every champion, you basically get a free reroll every match so you should always reroll once per lobby to toss out another option for your team. Only one downside to this: You like the champion you have but want to reroll to give others another option... buuut they take your pick the moment you pressed reroll and now you're stuck with something you'd rather not have. Yikes.

So what I suggest for an addition to this system is that when you reroll it shows both your current champ and your rerolled champ and asks you to choose between them before tossing either in the box.

There shouldn't even be a choice of "choosing your champion" in ALL RANDOM all mid mode...

Or, don't reroll if you like the champion.

You rerolled, you gave up the champion you had, so someone who wanted the champ grabbed them. You weren't 'sniped' and your champion wasn't 'stolen'.

A button to reroll and add to pool would be a great option, so we can help out our team with our rerolls and not worry about people taking champions we wanted to play.

That's good advice! I never thought of not rerolling champs I like! :D

Oh but there's a different issue. What if you roll something you don't like? D: Then you gotta test your luck with reroll and you don't know if you'll get something worser or betterer! D:

Man, you're mad for no reason.

If you roll something you don't like, and got something else you didn't like only to have the previous grabbed, oh well. Again, you gave up what you had. Don't want to risk getting worse? Don't reroll.

You're right! Rerolling is risky! But wait, the great game developers over at Riot came up with a solution!! Introduciiiing: the champion pool! Where all your rerolled picks are there to be freely swapped! :D Now rerolling is no longer risky! :D

Thanks to this thread we now know why rerolls exist! :D

Now maybe we can talk about sniping ^_^

Or you can just admit that there is nothing wrong and you want to complain for the sake of complaining. Nobody is sniping you, nobody is stealing your pick. Whatever is up there is up for grabs to whoever gets it first. Now move on to actual issues instead of this

I'd be an arrogant fool to disagree with the fact that that's how it currently works, doesn't mean I agree with how it works.

"reroll stealing" what is it with every single entitled person in this game? you rerolled the champion and someone picked it up that is not "stealing it" when you reroll a champion you literally are saying "I do not want to play this if anyone else wants it you can have it" that is what rerolling means now. Nobody is stealing anything from you since you literally said that you didn't want it by rerolling it in the first place.

Why should riot respond to this sort of entitled thread? you gave up your champion by rerolling you have ZERO reason to complain if someone picks it up

Add a button to use your reroll and add it to the champion pool then. It seems you've misinterpreted what we're saying. We have a champion we like and we want to give more options to our teammates, calling us entitled isn't constructive at all, especially when it's untrue. We're trying to help our team and we would like to do so without losing a champion we wanted to play. I could have been clearer in my post, they aren't stealing our champions, we just want a better system so we can give others more options. I have a reroll every match, just trying to share with my team.

If I have a champ I like, I always reroll and then instantly grab the champ back before even considering if I like the other champ. I haven't been sniped yet.

I started doing the same after I got sniped for the first time. Didn't even consider the possibility of sniping.

The way I see it, if you like your current champion, chances are you won't like whatever you reroll into as much. So I always just toss it back and then consider it if nobody takes it.

But when you don't like your champ and reroll another you don't like even more or vice versa. That's the gamble.

I'm not bothered if I get another champ I don't want, either way I would've been stuck with something I didn't want to play, that's ARAM. We just want a better system so we can roll and add more choices for teammates without the risk of losing the champ we wanted to play.

which is completely against the whole 'all RANDOM all mid' aspect of aram, you want to give your team more chances at different champions, making it less random...

and as to 'the risk of losing a champ we wanted to play', i'm afraid thats the risk you take when you reroll....
