Emotes. The feature that was added in Heroes Of The Storm some time ago.

First they try to make match length shorter like in Heroes Of The Storm.

Then they add recolours like in Heroes Of The Storm.

And then they also take from Heroes Of The Storm the idea of capturing a jungle camp to make it push the lane, and now this too.

Now they add emotes just like the ones in Heroes Of The Storm.

I love both games, but since League's the one that came first, I'm glad to see that HotS is doing so many things right that even League is taking inspiration from them.

You do know that this game is based off a WC3 map , named dota?

while that map was not created by blizzard, it was hosted by them. it is the origin of all MOBA. so how would riot NOT copy blizzard in this game?

Game length has been an ever changing aspect of the game, you can't claim they stole that.

Chroma packs were released two months before Heroes of the Storm was even out.

Rift Herald could very LOOSELY be compared to Heroes camps at best.

No, chroma packs were released waaay after HotS did them. I should know, since I play both games.

Rift Herald is pretty much the same thing of the HotS camps.

Well, there's an easy way to settle this:

Chroma skins were first released in patch 5.8 on April 28, 2015.

Heroes of the Storm was released on June 2, 2015.

And Rift Herald shares similarities with, if you want to just boil down pushes the lane as a mechanic. But there are differences to them too. And to be honest, Heroes of the Storm isn't any more original than anything else. The who took what from where arguments are always stupid, as evidenced by the fact you don't even know when which features were released.

league takes right stuff and makes their game better while other devs are insecure about copying ideas and end up with a short life game that dies after 3-5 years
