All skins are 1350 RP and up, now?

I feel some recent 1350 skins may have just been 975 skins.

And I really miss 750 skins.....

Pretty much yeah. Not a fan of it due to RP budgets.

I remember when Riot said that most skins will be 975 rp with increased quality, but it's obvious now that was a lie, if I remember correctly that was said by a usually very hated Rioter with the old yordle shopkeeper icon, can't remember his name, also quite hilarious how everybody just forgot that.

I've always preferred 1350+ level skins. 975 and 750 often feel like they cut down the skins potential to save a couple bucks.

I always want the best skins possible for the champs I care about.

750 skins were always given to champions who needed more high quality skins. It was riots way of trying to shut up champion mains who rarely got skins.

Sejuani has ONE skin with new VFX because of the stupid 750 skins they tried to push onto the community.

I'd rather Riot never make 750 skins again.

Remember when everyone complained about how Ezreal only gets 750RP skins with no special recalls and particle changes? Now, people complain about how every skin is 1350RP.

Honestly, i don't want to see a skin being half-baked, just to fill the 975RP or lower bracket. A good skin should present a champion in an entirely different light, something that new custom VFX, recalls, and VO processing helps alot with. Reaper Soraka and Eternum Cassiopeia are a perfect example of this. I'd hate it if they were half-baked and had no special SFX and voice-processing, because some people in the comunity are on a budget (implying skins were hyper expensive in the first place).

I don't really mind the decrease of 750 skins tbh. I know I would hate it if a champ I like got a skin for 750.

some 750 skins are really nice tho, like the nasus archduke one for example.

The issue I have with skins is that they are too pricey for what they offer. $10 for a skin is ridiculous imho.

Riot said that the quality of 750 RP skins and lower were not worth it, so skins are only going to be 975 and up now. That said, Chromas are more or less reaching around the quality of 750 and lower skins, minus the different themes. For example, a skin like Freljord Ashe is more or less a chroma her base. They could easily re brand that and Sherwood forest, make like 3 chromas and release them as a chroma pack.

Actually i looked through the store today. And was really sad.

I have 975RP left over and there were like 3 or 4 non-LCS skins up till like the beastmaster skins that were 975. And i noticed a trend.

1350 is the standard now, kinda sucks but half of the skinsets were 1350.

750 was 2nd popular with the Cooking set, worldbreakers,DND set, and beastmaster/hunter/whatever it was.

975 were reserved for a good skin in a 750 set, a bad skin in a 1350 set or one offs. EDIT: Forgot the april fools skins, the only 975 set.

For the last like 10 sets of skins i found 3 975s.

My wallet misses 750 skins but I guess this is how they make up for the lost income from runes.

I'm curious how much longer we will be allowed to mystery gift ourselves. I've only bothered to get around 40 some odd champions, so I've steadily acquired almost all of the 520/750/975 RP skins for my champion pool with quite a large portion of 1350+ skins untouched. Knocking these out for 490 RP was probably not what Riot had in mind when they made the 1350 skin pool larger than the 520 and 750 skin pools.

YuGiHo10/12/2017, 9:54:31 PM1 votes

975 haven't been a thing for a while its ether 750 meme skins or 1350 skins with effects and some shitty voice modifier.

Sukishoo10/11/2017, 9:08:39 PM1 votes

Riot has said before that they do like to fill out different types of skins, so them having quite a few 1350s isn't really new. I'm sure we'll see some other tiers soon enough.

Jeddy01710/11/2017, 11:55:25 PM1 votes

Yeah, they have been riding the 1350 hype a bit much. I understand they don't want to repeat the mistakes made with Queen Syndra, Sweetheart Annie & a number of past 750 skins. They want to fully flesh out a theme, I get that. But a good 975 skin is good enough sometimes. A bit less 1350 skins & few more 975 skins won't hurt anyone. And it would spare the wallets of people who buy skins all the time.

The last 750 i can rmemeber are the world breaker line.

The Trent10/12/2017, 3:02:58 AM1 votes

Compared to these new skins, all the old 1350 skins are 975. They should drop the price of them.

ModAcademy Kayn10/12/2017, 3:43:09 AM1 votes

They said they've recently changed how they price skins/how they assign skins with the details they come with (VFX, Model, VO, etc), and that they just haven't released an updated version of their new standards.

Placentas10/12/2017, 4:33:33 AM1 votes

I think a lot of the 750 skins that have been released have been amazing. I wish they would release more even though I do prefer 1350 skins due to the particle effects and such.

Gear5Luffy10/12/2017, 3:09:50 PM1 votes

last ones were the wresting ones i think or the nocturne and kayle ones
