I'm actually impressed by the moderation here.

So I've been very aggressive on a certain thread here, and the mods actually took time to explain me what was wrong with each one of my comments instead of doing a quick copy&paste of "this does not follow the forum regulations".

I must say this helped me understand I should really refrain my internet aggressivity. It's the first time I've seen something like that on an internet forum.

I just wanted to make a shoutout that I'm positively impressed and that now I'd feel like crap being all aggressive in this forum again.

It looks like it's not just the game itself that's getting attention to stop troll behaviour.

Thanks, LunSeiSleidee.

We on the mod team really appreciate you taking the time to tell us this. It's great to know that some people appreciate the feedback, and take it to heart.

Let me thank you, as well, for having the sort of response we love -- the ability to look at your own behavior a second time and be willing to accept that it might need to change slightly. It's something that's all too rare, and something that is absolutely fantastic to see. Looking forward to seeing you around in the future.

And, obviously, we're always looking for ways to improve. So if you see something that feels off, or something you think we're missing, hop over to this board and let us know. We're always happy to chat. :)

The moderation here is very professional, agreed.

It isn't aggressive and personal in the sense that, it isn't 'ban or removed because I personally disagree with it.' It is neutral, which is something terribly lacking on the internet these days. You are able to express what you wish, regardless if people disagree, so long as it fits within the guidelines and is relevant.

Since The Djinn already ate up most of the discussion I wanted to bring, I'll keep this short and sweet.

We do our best to be fair to all the people on the Boards, and opt to give people actual reasons and clarity rather than take the easy way out with "you done goofed, figure it out." The mods here actually work very hard to make the Boards a place where discussion thrives, so this thread would make a lot of us really happy because it shows that our efforts are meaningful to someone in the community. If I can make one person happy over weeks of fostering discussion, it's well worth it. And I'm sure the other Wardens feel the same.

We're always looking for new ways to make the Boards a better place, and always strive to improve our efforts to keep it great. On behalf of all of us, happy posting, and may you be forever showered with upvotes. And to start, here's a +1 wishing you the best of luck!

Really? This has literally never happened to me. I just get my posts flagged and deleted with a pure copy/pasta notification.

And while I'm complaining about the moderation, I was once openly harassed by an Arbiter who made a comment implying that I was too dumb to keep from shitting myself (simply because I disagreed with him on a certain topic, not because I made irrational comments). I obviously did not stand for this, and responded very much in kind, and then filed a report with Riot. The next day, I found myself on a temp ban from the forums with my comment deleted, meanwhile the Arbiter in question was continuing his shitposting on the very same forum, with none of his inappropriate comments being deleted. Kewl.

Sadly, compared to NA, EUNE and EUW is like a forest with wild animals. We can't even compare in the quality of boards moderation they provide. Shame.

Hey LunSeiSleidee.

We actually really appreciate this. We've been doing our best to meet up to everyone's expectations since we took over from the previous moderation team, and we're still learning as we go. Thank you for having confidence in us.

Seriously ? Out of 8 deleted messages notifications I only got 1 feedback that wasnt copy paste.

And in some case they didnt even copy paste my original message so I had no idea why and where I had been censored.

Lucky guy.

Unless the mod deletes your comment for mature content which is only mature if you are knowledgable about those questionable topics.

the mods actually took time to explain me what was wrong with each one of my comments instead of doing a quick copy&paste of "this does not follow the forum regulations".

You were lucky. I'm still getting copy-pasted responses.

It's the first time I've seen something like that on an internet forum.

You must be new to the internet, because any respectable forum was doing that since the dawn of the internet.

I'm fine with it most of the times, but there are a few mods that are way too quick on the delete button. One of those guys deleted my post which was obviously meant as a joke. It even was on a thread in M&G

NA boards are only reasonable boards. In EU boards you ask mod if they even read your post and your comments gets removed and you punished for either "spam" or "verbal abuse".
