What is this double standard?

and a lot of other champions were “fixed” so their empowered AA’s would not count as two stacks of electrocute, meanwhile has had this for years now and no changes?

You can argue that bard doesnt need nerfs or whatever but that is not an excuse to leave a bug in the game (not to mention most of the champions who were fixed didnt need nerfs either, and bard has been abusing this bug for far longer.)

Edit: Just because bard’s passive is an “additional projectile” and lux/mf/etc arent doesnt mean anything. Thats just a cosmetic and should have no effect on gameplay.

Pretty sure its not a bug but because when he auto's he yeets a meep at you and it hits you twice once for the auto once for the meep

not a bug, also MF's empowered autos are just autos, Lux is just a passive. Bard's is a stackable buff that gets consumed and applies an AoE spell effect.

It's not a bug, nor an "empowered auto" per se. Rather than empowering his auto attack, Bard's passive let's Bard occasionally fire an additional projectile (a Meep). This additional projectile is what procs the electrocute. The LoL wiki doesn't list Bard under "champs with empowered autos" for this reason.

MF and Lux's empowered auto attacks do not fire additional projectiles, so they wouldn't proc the third hit needed for electrocute.

As for whether or not Bard needs nerfs right now? Probably not. He sits at around a 2% play rate (so it's mostly Bard mains playing Bard right now), and a 50% win rate, so Riot probably won't do anything about it. (stats from champion.gg)
