Is Ghostcrawler responsable for the low quality reworks and the excecution of this mage update?

So far I feel like this mage update honestly didn't do anything. It tried to fix a problem that wasn't really there to begin with. If anything, supports should've gotten an overhaul for more interesting play. A staggering amount of the reworks were pointless and only made things worse. Swain and Viktor are the prime examples.

So who's making all these bad calls? My first guess would be Ghostcrawler.

Pretty odd for Riot whose income is dependent on a playable game to hire someone who is credited for killing WoW PvP.

you will have two responses:

Realistic player: yep

Fanboi (doesn't realize when the game state is bad): "of course you would blame gc! he is a wonderful dev and shouldn't be held accountable for what has happened! this has been going on for years!!"

Realistically ya, he admitted to loving bursty gameplay with assassins and mages. As he felt it gave life to the game.

Not very surprising that he would say something like that. Oneshotting people is fun, right? Would also explain why Zed just got buffed.

Reportir was in charge of the MYMU. Various designers handled different champs.

isn't he lead dev though? wouldn't the changes being proposed be overlooked by him?

As far as I've read, he personally spearheaded this update. He did all the posts, discussed everything about the items, and discussed the team's direction with their intentions. As a lead designer, that is his job. The other designers worked with him while he was at the helm.

So basically he made all the calls. Seems like a wise man.
