Will shyvana top work again due to the new guinsoos

Shyvana used to be a respectable top lanner. She's off meta now. I think I can ressurect the very champion that I played top when I first started playing a year and a half ago with guinsoos. How I would so it is rush Hydra for tank stats then guinsoos since guinsoos is expensive. I would take my tank page for sustain with gotu. You will deal more dmg than sated devour shyvana. Yes it takes time to ramp up like a jinx minigun if it needed 6 aa's for full effect.you will probably keep aaing for your ult. You can also zone people off of cs with your w. Your e can be a good poke tool. You max e then q then w. Play safe until 6 so you can escape. Do you think this would be a good idea???

shyvanna was fine before. Just go titanic into full tank, it was better before the titanic/sunfire nerf but it shouldnt be too much worse. She actually shreds alot of the meta picks as long as its not something like graves top.

Would the new guinsoos be good on her since you will be just as tanky as jg shyvana and you will have the double Hydra. Those 2 items will be your offensive items.

I main her jg but can never play her unless I get jg and I don't get it often. Even if i pick mid as a secondary role. Well it will be a good time since there are 12 mage changes and new mage items. If she had her way, udyr would be deleted from the game and vice versa. You play then the exact same way but shyvana can top.

I doubt it. Rageblade isn't great on her. If she's going top again, it would have to be because there are some favorable matchups she can work with.

Now that I think about it, shyvana top with rageblade means you need an early kill like riven/fiora or you can get it later of fed. I'm just being creative. Also what exactly do you mean by "it would have to be because there are certain matchups that she can work with"

It means there'd have to be someone who she can beat up easily enough who becomes a meta top champ that she'd leave powerfarming the jungle.

She will still be a good jg pick. She probably doesn't suffer as much as the other sated devour jg's since her e has on hit magic dmg while they are marked with it. You just need to max this second for better synergy. Just thought I'd add on to your final point.

Shyvana jungle is now more possible since the sated effect is not locked into the jungle, but I don't know if its enough to revive Top Shyv.

I played against bots to see if this was feasible. Shyvana is still good at top lane ( if top doesn't have good CC) but Guinsoo as 3rd/4th item was totally useless. Agreed it was bots and i was snowballing.. yet it lacked any incredible/ op stats. Bots/towers were being cleared at game speed even with out Guinsoo

If it lacks power when I'm ahead and against squishy bots.. It'll lack any power/stats when played in pvp. In fact it is much better to take item 3001 . It has the HIGHEST MR, Magic Pen and 10% CD.
