How do you deal with yi and xin?

I always seem to lose against these champs. Even though I stay safe and freeze near turret, the other lanes overextend, which means the enemy jungler gets free kills off of them and then he steamrolls the game.

Hard CC Champs are the best for Yi and Xin. Unfortunately, most damage dealers do not have hard CC to deal with anyone like Xin or Yi, leaving you to play reliable CC tanks, like Nautilus or Sion, and even they aren't sure bets unless you can really land their abilities. Additionally, tank items like Randuins, Thorn mail, or Frozen Heart are all anti-autoattack items that work well I'd you're having particular difficulties with AD autoattackers. If you insist on playing damage dealers like juggernauts, or AD damage dealers, Frozen Mallet is a good choice if you're behind since the health and damage combination with the slow effect can help out immensely.

You play Viktor and wait for them to commit to a target, then place Gravity Field. Once they are CCed you nuke them with your abilities.

If you know they will come from you, place Gravity Field on yourself RIGHT BEFORE they charge you. Walk around a little so you avoid some of the autos, then they will be stunned and nuked.

Buy item 3157 for extra outplay potential.

An earlier poster said to buy FM but Yi is slow immune in his ult and if Xin is fed and can almost one shot after e'ing that will be inneffective.

Lulu (with that cc thing) Malzahar (with ult) counter Yi, especially Malz. Point and clicks like Alistar headbut are easier to land and harder to avoid with Alpha strike than telegraphed things like Thresh's hook.

If you have mobility dont use it unless Yi's q is on cooldown or he will just follow you in it. Yi is far more effective for me than he should be in my normal queue clown fiestas just because people flash when I'm in alpha or cast mobility i can follow with Q.

If you're jungling vs Lee and you counter jungle that will really hurt him, but not if you team is easier to farm than jungle monsters. If you know you beat Yi early or he is on the other side of the map its good to starve him that way. People get really tilted if you counterjungle them.

Xin usually builds at least 2 tank items and he has build in sustain so he needs at least 3 people to take him down.

Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen are generally very good at mitigating auto attack damage.

Sunfire Cape and Thornmail can also really punch through in a trade against them. But remember that Xin and Yi are very good duelists. Fighting them 1v1 is not recommended.
