"Riot needs to allow new champions in ranked for data since people do not give all in normals"

Remember the Vayne Q compensation buff 1 patch after a "bug fix"? Vayne became an unbalanced, near permaban-status abomination who one-shot people with up to 425% AD on their Q using item 3087 item 3031 .

Remember the Ivern buffs 1 patch after release? Ivern became an unbalanced permaban-status abomination when people found out they can buy cheap support items item 3107 item 3190 and still have reliable income with 0 risk.

This isnt about data being inaccurate in normals. This is about data being inaccurate even in ranked when balanced around first-timers. Riot should not be using ranked data gained from first timers to balance a champion, and the past LoL history proves it.

I'm not sure why a lot of balance decisions are made on people with a handful of games. They eventually end up nerfed once experience is gained or the pros abuse the champion due to how over bearing they are when actually played even just on a mediocre level.

Well, Ivern will never truly be balanced. The class he was designed to be in, Supports, are all designed around a low economy environment, something Ivern breaks entirely.

A support who's not on a support's income will never really be balanced.

I agree on Ivern being impossible to balance due to his design.

But that doesnt mean he should have been buffed either, and my argument still stands.
