I am tired of the support being the only voice of reason in this game

Everyone else wants to go all in, all AD, all melee, and then half of the team can't even kill a minion without dying. The enemy is mostly composed of tanks, and nobody is able to do anything against them because nobody thinks of building armor pen because nobody thinks these items even exist or, for some fucking insane reason, think it will stop them from dealing damage because it doesn't have as much attack damage as their fifth fucking Infinity Edge.

I continue to be a support main because I'm being the only voice of reason, knowing the enemy's strengths and weaknesses as well as our own and actually doing something about it, rather than telling everyone else be the tank/support/crowd control guy/range because I want to go Yasuo top with a Vayne bot, Zed mid and Rengar jungle. Every single one of those assholes thinks they're going to be the one to get all the pentakills, and then when they don't they cry foul and shout in all chat to report their "troll whatever" for forty minutes.

Meanwhile everyone gets to demand the support cover their asses as well as every weakness and shortfall the team ends up having, which in an all AD melee assassin team is so many you might as well make them omnipotent. Meanwhile they take all of the blame for the failures, get no credit for carrying the entire team while these glory hound shitheels that focus on pentakills and nothing else get to waggle their mastery 5 dicks at everyone in the one in a million chance they actually do something worth a damn.

Supports need a serious edge up on their own team. Every support item ironically ends up being fucking useless because either nobody knows what they do, or because they pick champions or do stupid shit to negate the effects they have. Zeke's Herald doesn't do shit if the ADC decides to fuck off into the jungle for an hour to get that extra infinity edge. If people want to continue being stupid like this and punishing the support for it, then make them suffer. Buff the supports to some cosmic, omnipotent level, or make everyone else's existence in this game a living hell until they grow a brain. I'm tired of seeing the exact same shit play out each and every time because everyone is too fucking ignorant to be anything else but all in, all AD melee assassin.

I am tired of people assuming that anyone who plays a "carry" champion is automatically an entitled, narrow-minded asshole.

Like all stereotypes, it does apply to enough people to be abundant. If it was not at least partially true, then it wouldn't exist. But like all "rules" there are going to be exceptions, lots of them.

But if we keep spreading the rumors/stereotypes, some people may take it seriously :<

It sounds like you're in a bad ELO/MMR

I have tried vigorously to climb out of Silver III, but when I get the slightest bit ahead, suddenly I hit a giant, endless wave of pentakill mongers who hyperspecialize like how I just mentioned and kick me back all the way to bronze. Then I smash Bronze and climb back up to Silver III because in those lower divisions, the enemy ends up being as dumb as my own team in the higher divisions.

Every warning I could possibly give has been given quintillions of times, and nobody has even begun to buy a clue. This isn't an ELO issue. This is a community issue. The ENTIRE community is horrifically plagued with this blindness and ignorance, and a couple of exceptions to the rule doesn't make it the rule itself.

I may just not know what I am talking about then, because I only play normals. When team builder was lost I accidentally played a few ranked matches this season but otherwise I haven't played a ranked match since like end of season 1 maybe some of season 2.

I started only playing Dynamic queue because I was tired of seeing a game go to shit in the champion select screen when four people all want to be one role and then dedicate the next thirty minutes to ruining the experience for everyone else. That and the new UI is prettier. Now I see games go to shit in the champion select screen for different reasons.

champion match ups have statistical paper advantage in normals, but more often than not you'll find out that there's always the 1/3 chance that they picked champions based on "THEY CAN OUT PLAY THE OTHERS" and not actually know how their own champion mechanics work let alone the enemy champions.

Flavor of the month, word of mouth, so-and-so always loses against who-ever, there's always a reason for some one to chose a character they have no reason playing.

It's like those fiora players who use their dodge ability to 'long range poke' then they get dived all in and wonder why they died.

My pick choices are never based on the flavor of the month or any of that. Yes, I will counterpick, but ONLY if I know how to play that champion. I've only played Riven enough times to count on one hand, and if I ever do play her it's only going to be against an opponent I know how to escape from while I figure out her nuances.

My decisions tend to be whoever I feel like playing at the moment, who might be good to round out our team, or who I haven't reached Mastery 5 with yet. Earlier today, I planned on playing Janna, and my team demanded I get a tank like Leona or Braum. I told them that Braum was my strongest pick for a tank support, but I didn't want to use him because I already reached Mastery 5 with him, and it'd be boring for me. Given that they overspecialized for damage (as always), they forced my hand and... well, this happened. I ended with an S+ Rank and only one death that might have very well been avoidable.

I try to avoid using my strongest picks because I want to learn new champions, get better with ones I don't play as often and gain mastery levels with others, and the current climate of the League simply forbids and restricts that. I end up having to use all too familiar champions just to cover as many bases as possible that our team has terribly overlooked, and even when I point it out, no one wants to change their selection because they think it's not their problem. The community is in a bad state of affairs right now, and if it keeps this up, there won't be a League of Legends for much longer.
