So whose ready to perma ban Jinx, and shelve Vayne and Evelynn, and say goodbye to Relic?

Yeah. get ready. we're about to have a major adc meta change and it's not pretty.

Vayne is getting hit hard. Losing 30 AD on her ult, and 16.75% of her attack speed growth.

Evelynn is losing about 25% of her E's damage, meaning she'll move to a Tier 3 Jungle clear from Tier 2, and most of her combo's won't actually execute. She'll no longer be able to fight Darius Garen , so they must be happy. (She already has to build item 3098 to be relevant because of gimped farming)

Yet....... Jinx..... Jinx is now going to have access to max attack speed at level 9-10. You won't need to set off her Passive anymore for her to Penta; She'll do it all herself, as long as nothing is done to bring down item 3087 item 3094 Damage.

But...... I noticed Riot snuck in a ninja additional Nerf to Relic Shield: Proc healing is reduced by 50% if the item's owner is ranged. That means..... not only will adc's not use it, but neither should Thresh Rakan .

And then they did something really brutal to item 3098 To address the fact that Evelynn Started building it due to her inability to farm well in fast paced games, they not only made it so that the cooldown applies to jungle monsters; They also increased the cooldown penalty by 4 seconds per minion/monster kill! That means, the item is going to be useless for supports who snag stray mobs, who already often experience 40-48 second cooldowns on Frostfang between charges due to killing 5-6 minions.

They might as well just spell out: All Supports should just get item 3096 because it's the best support item and has been for 2 years.

And then there's the fact Fighters are now going to go Aftershock and do more damage than Grasp, be MUCH tankier because they no longer need tank items, have higher AD. Fun Fun.

P.S. There's that boosted Glacial Augment that's going to put 60% of the Champion base's innate slows to shame and make them obsolete (Oh joy; Adc's with on hit 30% slow).

Oh. And then there's the fact that Ornn Will now be pullable by Blitz, Not be able to muscle through Veigar's walls, or generally do anything to prevent displacement, which is going to make him a target that can't even react to oncoming attacks.

But..... At least Kha and Vayne are getting nerfed.

I can certainly say Evelynn is still going to be able to kill, and still going to be able to clear pretty well. A little bit slower and significantly less bursty, but still very capable of bursting down squishies quickly.

She's going to be a lot more reliant on landing her charm combo when picking people off, and it's certainly going to be harder to play her since the nerfs impact her at every stage of the game. She's not really dropping a tier, just that it's gonna take a while to get used to how it adjusts her playstyle.

As for farming, I haven't really felt any difficulties with it, though the nerfs may change that. Will also probably change what items you'll build on her.

You have no idea how much damage is lost in jungle from the E nerf at level 3. At level 3, Blue Sentinel has about 2350 HP. At level 3, each part of Eve's kit is level 1.

Each hate spike volley to a primary target = 31 + (14+31)*3 = 166 Damage.

W did 256 Damage.

E did 6.6% + 70 damage = 225 damage. Blue takes a second cast, for 122.5.

Hunter's Talisman adds 45 damage per 5 sec,

That means That on her level 3 Blue sentinel it took 6 Q casts, 2 E casts, 1 W cast to get to smite level HP.

6 Q's takes 3.2 19.2 Seconds.

That's a lot compared to any melee jungle.

New E is going to do only 175.75 on the first volley.

Second volley will do 117.55 damage. Net loss of damage: 54.2 Damage lost.

That means Evelynn is going to have to cast Q one more time, or do 1 more auto attack. That's going to put her Blue clear up to over 20.5 seconds.

I know that doesn't sound huge, but she has an on board 2.5 seconds to charm the initiate too, so this is 23 seconds for a single mob clear.

Udyr or Xin or Yi can Clear the same mob in 10 seconds.

This is precisely why Evelynns started picking up item 3311 ; Her farm capability is slow considering all the components. It's safer vs the mobs, but slow, and at more risk of ganks because her kit doesn't have early game escapes.

By the time lanes end, I usually have around 80 cs. It's not uncommon for Evelynn to end the next ..... 15 minutes after that with only 120, because most of the game, she's purely fighting. But now, she can't even use Frostfang because it's going to go on a minute cooldown every time she kills something.

Her new E damage is going to make killing a Darius who is fed impossible, because her old damage literally barely managed to get Darius to 35% HP before he's popping off his ult and E's to heal. It will no longer get him to Grievous wounds status. And there are a ton of these Borderline encounters which just won't happen anymore. And since they won't happen, Evelynn won't gain champ gold, and she won't be able to keep up with jungle gold either. And, about half of the game's Champions outright counter Evelynn, so most games have 2+ who make ganks unviable and team fights unviable

E was the reason Evelynn can kill. She'll still get her low HP KS targets, but she won't be able to 100-0% someone.

The nerf to item 3302 was not snuck in, they had spoken about it a lot actually. Also Ornn has been a pain in the ass with godlike performance with his damage. item 3302 Vayne both make Mordekaiser more viable in the botlane, so we may very well be seeing him some more. Also Item owner ranged means their natural state; for instance, the no ranged champion quest last year? Kayle Aatrox Gangplank Thresh are all melee for that quest, since spell effects are what give them range, they are considered melee.

The 50% reducton to ranged was snuck in. The generally support tree changes and loss of quests was discussed.

Ornn Ornn is not a pain in the ass if you know how to play vs him. And he's far easier to learn to play against than a Zed or Yasuo Just GET OUT OF HIS PATH. I have never lost to an Ornn... EVER.

Morde won't have his shield from item 3307 , so doubtful. If you can poke down his shield he will have to use life to cast, which is never what a Morde wants to do.

The 50% was discussed, I had seen it around a week before. And if you think that just gettting out of his way is the way to beat him, then the way to beat anyone is to get out of their way, you must be playing against teams that don't teamfight, because that is where the pain from Ornn lies. Also I doubt that you understand Mordekaiser very well. He does not pay his health costs from his shield. I was saying that he is not being nerfed by the relic nerf as he is not ranged. He still gets the full heal value off of it. Its like nerfing everyone in the jungle, except for say Rammus then he is the strong one.

I can dodge Ornn in a team fight. I don't know what game you're playing.

Morde does not inititially pay spell costs with his shield but when it's charged, yes. He does. That's why even though he's a Life consumer, you never see his HP go down much. His first damaging spell grants him shields, and then subsequent skills detract from that shield as a priority over life.

(and before you say item 3146 , He does this BEFORE having it).

You may be able to dodge him, but what about the rest of your team? He basically gets one of you unless your team refuses to fight the teamfight, in which case Ornn wins the objective for the team. Mordekaiser does not cast spells from his shield. The shield takes damage but does not apply to health costs.
