Eye-Opening Video on Buffing and Nerfing, and Why we Should Buff More

I was browsing the internet and came across this video. The main point of the video is to discuss why it's better to buff more than nerf, and that's the most I'll say. It's meant to apply mostly to fighting games, but I think it can apply to League too.
People would rather see the weaker characters buffed than have the stronger ones nerfed, it's more exciting to see. That isn't to say that Riot shouldn't ever nerf champions, or buff with just damage and raw stats. I think that the best way to get this mindset is to do what Riot's been doing with mini-reworks such as
and
. Not only are the champions getting buffed, but they're new. They aren't just getting free raw stats and damage (we know how much everyone loves damage), but new mechanics to change their gameplay and tactics.
If you don't want to listen to me blabber on about my thoughts, watch the video at the least. It shows a lot about how games should be balanced to appeal to the most people. As for one more thing, League may never be 100% balanced, nor should it be. Constant power shifts keep the game fresh, but it's only enjoyable when it isn't a toxic meta, such as what we appear to have now.
TL;DR: (If it's necessary) People tend to prefer to see buffs than nerfs, but both can help a game stay fresh and enjoyable when done correctly.
