A New Mechanic and Something For the Community and Riot To Remember
Dear Riot,
I can see Plants are being added and I am fairly excited for their arrival. However, I can the Community is scared or disagree with them being added to the game. We have seen in the past that when the Community doesn't like something, they will do everything in their power (which, to be honest, is basically just spamming the Boards) to get the feature removed. This is especially true if they don't like it AFTER it is release to Live. Everything always has it's haters, that is true. HOWEVER, I would be entirely ready to remove Plants if the vast majority of players hates them. If just a few hate them, then forget them, they are the haters of this subject. Everything has it's haters. However, if everyone hates them, don't hesitate to remove them if they don't work out.

Dear Community,
For the love of god, please stop judging things before they come out. We have no experience with Plants on live or on the PBE. We don't even have exact details on what they do or how they will impact our games. We don't know exact spawn locations and we don't know how they will play out. In short, we know nothing except a general idea of what they will do and that they give a 30 second warning before spawning. So, please, stop jumping the gun like you always do.
