The changes we need in vision

First off, having only control ward is bullshit. It is absolutely useless against stealth champions, but is completely broken against traps such as Teemo shrooms because it completely invalidates the point of the champion. Completely unbalanced and biased. It should not do that. It should reveal traps, but not desactivate them.

Then, we need an item in the form of a ward or sweeper that reveals invisible champions. Not just show an untargetable image of them so that you can see your death by insane bursts Kha'Zix or Vayne for instance, because who cares we see where they are when the whole purpose of their stealth is temporizing for their burst to come back on (and yeah, Vayne is now a burst assassin on top of being a kite-based tankmelter duellist, deal with it) ; but completely revealing them so that you can target them with spells and autoattacks.

This should be also available in trinkets.** And the only thing it does is revealing champions, not wards, traps or anything else**; which makes it extremely weak in the map vision domain, therefore balancing it fairly with the other choices of trinkets.

The whole revealing invisible people, is why Riot removed pink wards. It's to make it easier to balance stealth, not having it be countered by an item.

There is shimmer

What we need is buff to teemo shroom duration Or general teemo buff

NO reason to ruin whole stealth camouflage system just because of teemo

Shimmer kinda sucks. I'd be better off with a real way to reveal them and actually be able target them than knowing approximately where they are. Not everyone is a skillshot-based champion. I feel that in the current way things are, you either need some real way to deal with invisibility... or badly gut invisibility abusers. Well, though in a certain way, the real problematic champion here is Vayne. Kha'zix and Akali can be annoying, but are not insanely overpowered. It's just that we have close to no counterplay.

But speaking of traps, Shaco is also to consider along with Teemo. Removing the ability of control wards to desactivate traps would in no other way affect game balance since traps are the only thing that are concerned .

And you just answered your own question. The answer isn't to nerf stealth, it's to nerf Vayne.

Akali is legit the weakest champ in the game on this patch. Consider that when you suggest stealth nerfs.

Please read through the preseason patch notes for pinks. It's like this for a reason.

Across League’s history, we haven’t done a great job of handling these traits separately. Case in point: Vision Wards are the one-size-fits all counter to stealth, regardless of what enemies are trying to do while unseen.

My suggestion being that the ward/sweeper in question reveals only champions and nothing else (wards/traps), it is not at all a "one-size-fits all counter to stealth"

Your new sweeper would be too. Think about it, if you can just sweep Akali's shroud we're back to square 1, except we're not, because you also had to use sweeper to clear wards and it didn't allow targeting, so stealth is far worse than it was.

Riot wanted to make stealth have an impact. As soon as people worked out they could buy pinks you kinda made stealth abilities irrelevant, one of the goals was to remove that.

I just want to add, that while I agree with some of your points, there is a lot more Riot could do to make vision and invisibility fairer to play against. As TheHappyReaperz mentions, having a free or nearly free item that negates a core feature of a champs kit is really lame. That said, Riot hasn't really don't anything to make the champs with invis more fair to play against. Unit collision or excessive damage still doesn't knock Vayne out of her invis, Shaco's invis duration was nerfed at early ranks, but it doesn't have any more counterplay than before - his puff of smoke and evil laugh upon disappearing are exactly the same as they were. Riot could play up these kinds of clues and tells on the champs with invis, but for some reason they've yet to do so...
