Riot, your balance approach has become really unhealthy for the game (Sona focused)

Let me get this straight...Sona is over performing in top lane but is barely passable as a support. First you try nerfing mana costs, and in one day decide that isn't enough and revert her entire set of buffs from a couple patches ago, even going beyond where she was before and taking off BASE stats?

Where is the tempered approach Riot used to have to balance? I'm a gold ELO scrub and I can tell you your balance approach is REALLY unhealthy. Sona support isn't going to be able to function with how heavy-handed you've been.
