Could we make worlds specific patches?

The Gangplank/Azir/Shen nerfs for instance are obviously not for solo players and for the common man, these nerfs are going to hurt. We don't have the drive, we don't have the skill, and (most likely) we don't have full teams to coordinate plays with Like in worlds.

I get that GP and Shen have strong, low interaction ults, but if you nerf them it's going to hurt solo players an unnecessary amount. Azir for instance used to be good in solo matching, but his performance is abysmal due to the "pro" scene. Due to his maximum potential being so great, you had to go and ruin it for everyone else.

My proposal as it stands right now, would make worlds specific changes/patches. They already operate on a separate version of the game, so why not only apply certain patches to that? (For instance the Shen nerf) This way you can still handicap the pros without murdering a champions solo performance. Just something I thought of in the shower.

It would be so hard and confusing to know what happened where. It's simpeler to not.

In what way is this "hard" or "confusing." The idea is to only alter the patch that pros play on. This way riot can still tailor the worlds meta while damaging the regular one.

Eventually It will become 2 whole differents META's. Which is bad.

It will be confusing to watch esports, since it wil be so different. Picks like the Varus and Corki mid Won't affect Dynamic queue anymore since different patches. different damages, cooldowns, maybe even abilities. Eventually they'll have to rework different champions.

It costs too much time for RIOT and is too confusing.

I'm just referring to world specifically. After worlds it can be reverted.

That makes a lot more sense. But it would still be confusing...

The entire idea is to have them the same. You play the exact same game as worlds is played on. It loses a fair bit of it's hold and power if the two have differing balancing sets.
