idk why giving 2 really good defensive items a ton of offensive stats was a good idea

item 3102 item 3026

These items were just fine before as situational defense items for everyone in the game, but now they're must buys for almost every AP or AD champ. Before the tradeoff for these two items was sacrificing damage for more durability and defense, but now you get the best of both worlds with just one buy. Not to mention it killed build diversity due to the fact that AP champs can't build GA without wasting gold and AD champs can't build Banshee's for the same reason.

40 AD's not really "a ton of offensive stats".

"A ton"

40 attack damage isn't that much. 70 ability power is solid but nothing spectacular. Plus, aren't they both about 80% gold efficient or something like that?

For an item that gives defensive stats and an extra life, yes that is a lot.

BV is worse than old scepter was. Lost MR and has same AP, but also lost the 10% damage.

"must buy"

Just because ADC's aren't going glass cannon anymore doesn't mean you can rant about it being a stupid idea. Not to mention that there used to be an AP GA but no one bought as much as the AD GA in PBE so it was really the players fault anyway. It did not kill build diversity just because 2 items are now AD/AP specific, and the AD GA has no MR at all.
