Bottom Lane (Not Marksman) Seems to Need Help in the Early/Mid Game

Bottom Lane, in my opinion, seems to be a in an extremely stressful spot right now. Due to how Tower First Blood works and Bot Towers not having early defenses (last time I checked) it is commonly targeted by Junglers since it has by far the highest potential for gold. Not only that, but Bottom Lane is also important for early and mid-game Dragon Control, so it is stressed to win lane so to get those objectives. Not only that, but with changes to Autofill, many players are being forced to play Support since usually people who are Autofilled go into Support. This leads to tons of players not enjoying the game and commonly losing lane since they don't know how to Support, which is incredibly impactful towards the outcome of a game due to the fact that that is where the ADC lives and Dragon is close to, meaning bad Supports commonly lose games. Not only this, but Assassins are also more common in games currently and Assassins that roam roam Bottom Lane 75% of the time, leading to many 2 man ganks making it a 2v4 or 3v4 if your Jungler helps you. With Shen being buffed and Teleport still being a common take on Top Lane champions, Top Lane also commonly saves Teleport specifically to roam Bottom Lane, meaning potentially an entire team can be Bottom Lane out of no where. It is just incredibly stressful/annoying to have the entire game focus around one side of the map so heavily. The upper part of the map seriously needs to have more pressure put on it early game through better objectives, more objectives, and other such things. Top Lane, after everything, is still an island in 80% of games and doesn't interact with other lanes unless they Teleport somewhere, which is usually only for a short fight. In my opinion, the following changes should be implemented:

  1. Rift Herald NEEDS To be Changed to be More Important
  2. Either Top Lane Tower Needs to Also Have It's Early Defensive Buff Removed or Bottom Lane Tower Needs to Have an Early Defensive Buff
  3. Top Lane Needs to Have More Reasons to Pick a Summoner Spell Other than Teleport
  4. Rework the Support Class or Revert the Autofill Change

Rift Herald currently just doesn't provide enough benefits for getting it. Amazing, your split pusher gets to be more powerful, but HOW good is it actually? Why would someone who wants to split push leave lane to go get an objective? Usually a split pusher wants to constantly stay in lane to pressure the enemy lane, while going to get Rift Herald NOT ONLY removes that pressure but, due to how powerful Rift Herald is himself, leaves the people gettign Rift Herald open to die easily. Rift Herald needs to be a team wide objective or part of it's buff needs to not deactivate when near allies. It's stupid that in a team game, the Rift Herald buff punishes allies who help you or you for helping allies. Next, the early game tower defensive buffs. I get that Towers are really weak and fall like rocks sometimes, but it would be a good idea to either remove Top Lane's early defensive buff or give Bottom Lane an early defensive buff. Having it the current way it is just further enforces entire teams to roam Bottom Lane and hardcore push it. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised (if nothing changes for a long time) if eventually strategies begin to pop up focused entirely around early zerging Bottom Lane to get the Tower and secure Dragon. Like some weird, temporary tri-lane or something dumb like that that's entire goal is to just early kill Bottom Lane tower. Finally, Teleport is STILL too prominent of a spell. Why? WELL LOOK! It's the only Summoner Spell that is taken Top Lane (other than Flash and Ghost, which are often picked one or the other) that stays relevant against all team comps throughout every stage of the game. Ignite? No, it falls off hard late game. Barrier? Barrier is a joke for tank champions late game, which commonly go Top. CLEANSE? HAH! The way to enforce other Summoner Spells Top Lane is to buff other Summoner Spells to be useful Top Lane. Like maybe making Barrier scale slightly with bonus/max health (AFTER CotC is nerfed of course), making Cleanse an actually useful Summoner Spell, and making Ignite not fall off late game (% Health True Damage DoT?). Teleport is always the best choice not because it itself is so strong, but because everything else is so weak in comparison! FINALLY FINALLY, if you want players to play Support, forcing them to do it is NOT the way to do it Riot! It just leads to poor matchmaking where someone plays Support that doesn't want to, plays poorly, and loses their team the game. Anyone else notice a rise in feeding Supports as of late, especially in lower tier ranked play? IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT! There is a 50% chance basically that they didn't even sign up for the shitstorm that is the insane pressure of Bottom Lane lately. Rework the Support class or remove this 24/7 autofill Riot. Pick one, but don't keep it the way it is currently. People would rather wait 2 to even 10 more minutes for a match in extreme cases to have 35 minutes (average) of enjoyable play time.
