like 5 of them for a skin up to 1350 rp quality and 10 of them for any skin in the store?
i really dont care about a single one of those hextech skins, but happen to have a couple spare gems. considering just how rare those gems are, im not sure if youd would lose out on a lot of money.

seriously though, arent gemstone skins worth like 100 to 200 bucks, because thats how much youd have to dump into chests to get the 10 gems for one?
being able to trade 5 for a quality skin and 10 for a legendary/ultimate seems reasonable to me.

Ultimate skins are worth more than Hextech ones, I believe. So they should, therefore, be worth more gems.

ultimate skins are worth like 20 to 30 bucks.
to get a hextech skin, you have to dump 100 to 200 bucks into those chests. when the hextech system was released and people werent able to get the occational gem from sales and by throwing 100k blue essence at the shop, there were people who spent 300$ on hextech chests to get the 10 gems for a skin.
ive managed to get every single mastery chest over the last 2 years, and dumped like 300k blue essence in the 3 gems at the store, and im still not at 10 to get one of those skins.
even if i was, i simply dont like the ones available. i have a better skin for darius and i dont even play the other champions.
trading a gem for a chest, or a ward skin is laughable.
so id say making 10 gems a legendary or ultimate is definitely fair.
