I heard some people saying dont nerf ziggs, its just the meta making him strong

Hypocrisy. Darius wasnt strong until the CoC meta. Let the downvotes pour in, I dont care.

Ziggs actually isn't that strong. The Darius nerf was a very much needed thing. His bleed was way to powerful at early levels, making him way to much of a lane bully. If you actually look at the numbers though, all of the Darius nerfs are just a slap on the wrist. As for Ziggs though, of course he is going to look strong in a thinner lane vs a squishy ADC that isn't use to laning against a Ziggs. Yes Ziggs is going to look powerful when attacking the weakest towers in the game. Nobody had a problem with Ziggs until someone decided one day, "Know what, I think I'm going to try out Ziggs bot lane." So knock it off thinking he's overpowered when in reality it's just how bot-lane has been balanced into a wet sheet of paper. So now whenever something that hasn't been balanced around that sheet of paper goes there it will be considered "to powerful", such as Ziggs and Malzahar.

Yea literally one shotting a tower is so fair am i right, not to mention he can do this every 13 seco ds because of his passive, totally balanced, give me a reason he shouldnt be nerfed because of this....

Get off the pansy wagon, he isn't 1-shotting towers until extreme late game with full items. He deals high damage to a squishy tower, big deal. He still needs a lot of AP and Liche Bane to actually be a threat to them because he doesn't have enough DPS. At best he can get maybe 2 passive autos in before the wave is killed by the tower, only one at best if the enemy team is contesting, because he doesn't want to eat up all of his mana just for some tower damage.

Do you even realize what we are talking about, its sighs one shorting a tower at late game, not 5 minutes in and if 40 minutes in your bot lane turret isn't destroyed you honestly have idiots on the enemy team

You realize there have not been any buffs to Ziggs since Patch 6.9 (May 4th, 2016)? Ziggs has been able to shred towers for months.

Yea, and, its just been happening because of the whole sighs bot lane bs going on, and is way over powered, he can literally auto w and kill a turret, that in itself is way to strong, since he doesn't even need a minion wave, that's the reason they reworked zz'rot, because it didn't need a minion wave or champion to kill the tower.

Darius has been on our watchlist for a while having been pretty dominant top lane since the pre-season. We initially wondered if it was just Courage of the Colossus being overtuned and whether we should avoid making any changes to him until that had been nerfed. Grasp of the Undying builds seem to be performing just as well on him however, so we concluded we did need to take some power out of Darius himself.

Riot is retarded. Of course grasp darius will still do well if the top lane meta is filled with nautilus and poppy. Fuck, deathfire touch or bond of stone darius will do well with a meta like that.

Isn't Darius only strong because he is a solid counter for Poppy? I thought that was the board consensus a couple weeks ago.

The board consensus was that darius was OP, and riot wrongly listened. The board did however correctly state that CoC was too strong. Darius happens to be one of the best CoC users. And, as you stated, he is a direct, hypercounter to poppy.

Darius has been a very powerful lane bully for years. The Juggernaut update only increased his power potential. As a top lane main, for a very very long time, he was the only top laner I could never beat. Whenever I'd get matched against a Darius I knew I was more than likely going to lose my lane. Sure, eventually I got more use to him and can beat him now, but he went way to long without anything being done about his power just because "he has no form of gap-closer or mobility so he's in a balanced state". That's like when people were saying ADCs are balanced because they have no form of mobility, oh wait Caitlyn (net-dash) Corki (dash) Draven (MS booster) Ezreal (blink) Kalista (hops for days) Kindred (slightly slower hops) Lucian (dash) Quinn (targeted dash + MS boosting ult) Sivir (MS boosting ult) Tristana (jump) Twitch (MS boosting stealth) Vayne (tumbles + MS boosting passive + passive doubling ult). Now the only reason they seem balanced is because of assassins 1-shotting them and Ziggs being bot lane.
