I think buffing Master Yi was not needed

I don't want to bash Yi too much, I just want to simply say people were taking him into ranked high elo and still performing well with him. Why would you guys buff him when he still could destroy in Diamond 1 and above? I been watching Wings, and he was in like 4 or 5 matches with Master Yi's on his team or so that destroyed the other team.

Alright that's out of the way, I expect many downvotes although it's true that Yi could still perform well. The problem which is the real problem is that people don't know how to adjust playing Yi, jax, Zhao since devourer is gone. These champions are still killing machines if you adjust, so I think Riot honestly should just hold back for a couple patches before buffing them and letting everyone get adjusted before they going buffing the champions.

So honestly the main thing I wanted to mention was Riot should hold back a couple patches before making changes and letting everyone adjust.

Other than that, I can't really complain about Yi, I just wanted to say he could still get 20+ kills and a penta in D1. In fact in Wing's match the Yi on his team got a penta and almost a second penta..... Now Riot buffs him. I mean more and more people will adjust eventually, so buffing him was meh in my opinion, and sorry if this offends any Yi mains out there.

Buffing Trailblazer just adds onto the situation, but owell.

You always had to cherry pick games with Master Yi. I don't understand where your reasoning for that statement. Master Yi thrives when the enemy has bad CC, especially bad hard engage for example no Alistar or something.

Underpowered? So two penta's in a D1 match is underpowered? I was seeing Master Yi's appear on that stream all day and doing well no problem, and Wings was in solo que. Master Yi was not underpowered and winrates mean little to nothing whenever a update happens cause there is a lot of people on this game, a lot of people in bronze trying these changes and losing matches tanking that "win rate" everyone like Buff Jax Please lives by.

If you really want to talk underpowered, talk Yorick, Singed, Aastrox. Not Yi who can still go on rampages. Luckily they didn't buff his ultimate, but I think the double buff could be too much but you can disagree with me all you want. As i have said when you argue with someone on the internet and they disagree, they tend to disagree and not be swayed from their steadfast position.

Singed, Yorick, and Aatrox were better than Yi last patch.

He was at a 42% winrate...if he was a mage with that winrate you would have had 20 buff Yi threads with 500 upvotes each every day on these boards.

Again, the 42% winrate was due to everyone not adjusting, but ok.

Riot should wait a few patches to make changes like they did with Illaoi to get a feel and let everyone adjust.

Lol how do you wanna adjust when your best items (which caused your champion to get nerfed in the first place) are shit?

People have played Yi well before Devourer and (reworked) Rageblade existed, they don't need to "adjust".

If you think Yi didn't need the buffs then your probably bad at the game, you lack basic knowledge of the state of Champions.

Yi's E was nerfed. Yi's R was nerfed. Devourer was removed. Rageblade was nerfed. Bloodrazor changed all of Yi's damage to physical.

There's some information. Noob. He needed the buffs with the destruction of his two main items and true damage nerfs.
