We got to remember how well Tristana got reworked.

It wasn't that big of a rework but it was impactful. There were also little to not complaints after it and it was handled/balanced really well by Riot.

That's not Tristana, don't be fooled. It's a Zaun Spybot trying to infiltrate yordle society, but don't worry, we've got Cpt. Teemo stalking it.

Uhh.........ok. I remember it. Is there some sort of prize for this achievement or was i suppose to remember it for a specific reason?

BS. Rito gutted Trist and many people were angry. She had to be buffed back up in THREE following patches to finally be playable again. Even then, she's still weaker than before and now they're nerfing her again in the pre-season.

She wasn't gutted per se; she was transferred from one role (hypercarry) to another (structure destroyer). It was a vast shift in play-style, and a lot of players were displaced because they expected that late-game Tristana build to come online like it did pre-rework only to find that the only thing their champion was good for was taking towers. She's not weaker. She does a different job, and should be treated and played differently.

She had her attack range reduced by over 50 units, her attack speed was cut in half and her damage output was reduced. If that's not enough, let's point out the fact you're intentionally ignoring: SHE RECEIVED BUFFS IN THREE PATCHES AFTER UNTIL SHE BECAME PLAYABLE AGAIN. These alone prove she was gutted. As for being weaker; her pick-rate and pick priority have both declined drastically, self-proof of being weaker than prior.

Weaker in the absolute sense of raw damage output against champions, but I dare you to go take a look at her structure damage stats and see how those have changed. Oh wait, Riot doesn't seem to care about recording structure damage. Funny how that mindset translates to so many players, too...

Weaker in the absolute sense of TOTAL DAMAGE, not just against champions.

Although you're right that she hits turrets and only turrets for a bit more than before. Thanks for that, Cpt. Obvious.

I'm not sure you understand the importance of champion identity and niches. You can either have Tristana be a ball of late-game damage with a generic item build strapped onto her, and she'll have no identity whatsoever; or you can have her be really good at one thing, and assign that as her niche so that she's picked when you need to accomplish that one thing. Sure, they cut her overall damage by too much initially, but she's in a pretty good spot right now. Definitely a little more skillful than she used to be, and more intelligent decisions have to be made when playing her. Personally, I'd rather have a weaker Tristana who's very strong in a tower-busting niche rather than a powerful but mindless Tristana that just right clicks and does a ton of damage to everything.
