the 6th project skin might be for jax

why would they make such a secret out of it? because i suspect it will be coming with a vu.

jax is one of the original 40, which makes it likely that they already started working on an updated look for him. you might think, why would jax get a vu, when he doesnt look bad? because all of them are getting one at some point and its easy. it seems like one of those "low risk" updates on the scale of ashe, that could happen any time. they dont have to change anything about the general look about the character and might just give him an updated model, some better animations and adding things missing compared to todays standarts like a recall animation. it would be nothing close to the update they would give yorick or poppy, that come tied in with a gameplay update.

jax lore is also currently still tied in with the institute of war. and riot has been phasing it out as part of the world for quite a while. mabye he will get a lore update with a vu, that ties his lore in with yasuo. (hence the same trace numbers).

jax didnt get a skin in quite a while. he would fit into the general style of lone fighters who are apparantly getting a project skin. the helmet on the teaser has 6 eyes. and the way the hair comes out of the helmet looks very much like jax.

Not many of them make sense for Jax though.

We have "Trace Lost" "Brilliance in pieces, shrouded in ethereal flame. Protector, light bringer. Lone voice. Stand and Fight. In death heavy fields, now still she stands, light washes over..." "Piercing flame, he, cast in light. I see his vision, free from shadow, a blazing melody. Beyond the light, nothing, purity bound in fury..." "Tempest, a blossom caught in drift, fluid form. He speaks. Death is like the wind... he is a storm, blade howling... Always by my side..." "Dark sight, shadows marked, death lives beside. Silencer, he follows. The shadow is within. Blood soaked, he stands. Vanish..." "Weaves, unweaves; unraveled defense, dashing forward blade gleaming. Caught orbiting one vision, dashing, striking, blade dancing..."

Trace lost could theoretically be any Project, though likely a slippery, more supernatural one (due to, y'know, a super military thing covered in technology not being good at disappearing). "Protector, light bringer. Lone voice. Stand and Fight." "she stands" point to a female champion with supportive qualities; likely Kayle or Leona (guessing Kayle, as Leona is never in flames). "Piercing flame, free from shadow, blazing melody, purity bound in fury". While parts of this one could refer to Jax none of them make particular sense (why does he have a piercing flame? Blazing melody? Purity bound in fury?) outside of a rather large retcon. This one is Yasuo. This one is obviously either Zed (death mark, shadows, teleporting) or Talon, with a heavy emphasis on Zed. This one dos not make sense except for a champion with some form of defence reducing (Jax has none, and does not use a blade). My guess is Renekton, but unsure.

So of the Project skins, Trace Lost could be him though unlikely, as Jax disappearing and not Zed makes no thematic sense. The third one likewise could be him, except for describing nothing about him.

Trace Lost totally fits Jax, in his lore he is described as 'an unknown fighter who was unbeatable' so his unknown backstory would be the most fitting league champ i can think of

lol no. i think you misunderstood.

they clearly teased 5 project skins. all those hints arent just for 1 champion they are for 5 different ones. im pretty sure that one on the top right for example is leona. because "stand and fight" is one of her quotes.

bottom left is probably zed, top left seems to be fiora.

the 6th one thats currently unknown (trace lost) is probably jax imo. because the teaser picture kinda looks like him for once. its probably not yi, since he already got a headhunter skin. and the 6 eyes wouldnt fit xin.

it could a be a new champion, but it just looks a lot like jax.

I am here to try and not end this but tell you what i am 99% sure are the project skins.

We already have a PROJECT yasuo skin so no need to talk about that.

This first one

Dark sight, shadows marked, death lives beside. Silencer, he follows. The shadow is within. Blood soaked, he stands. Vanish...

is without a doubt, Zed. The description of him fits this, and 'The shadow is within' is a quote said by him.

Next...

Brilliance in pieces, shrouded in ethereal flame. Protector, light bringer. Lone voice. Stand and Fight. In death heavy fields, now still she stands, light washes over.

Is what I believe to be Leona. She shines light and gives people hope, but the main reason I say this is because Leona says 'Stand and Fight' ingame, and it is also said above.

Next up...

I believe this one to be Lucian. The only evidence I have is the first word 'Piercing' which is the first word in his Q. It also says blazing which could reference his W. The description kinda fits him too.

this final one...

My guess is Fiora, as she is a blade dancer and alot of these things reference her abilities. Also, fiora just got a rework and she hasnt gotten a skin in years, so it would be logical.

One more thing. I dun fooled all yall. I said we wouldnt have to talk about Yasuo anymore but we do. Every strand thing has an id number at the top of it. Yasuo has one thats identical to the missing one. My answer to who is the mystery person is Yone, yasuos brother. Yone will also be geting a project skin.

Thats my theory that im pretty sure is correct. okbye

ya, and if youve actually read through my post youd see that i only talked about the 6th missing one. except for the trace number and the picture there is no other hint yet. it means that the 6th champ is maybe connected to yasuo but we dont know how.

and the teaser picture makes it look more like jax.

from yasuos teaser, his brother looked almost exactly like him with the same samurai theme. i find it just unlikely that they add a champion that has nearly entirely the same theme. they used to, but they dont do that anymore.

i agree that he looks alot like jax, but then you gotta consider that riots made alot of people look different when they die. Yone has that ponytail thing, and although jax does too, jax has all of his eyes scattered around his face. This man looks like he has a yi mask for a face. Also, and this is just imo, i feel like you are mistaking theme with looks. In some cases both are the same, but they could just as easily be different. He may look alot like yasuo, but he could be some fire demon from hell that has no connection to yasuo using the wind.

i dont know, i dont think he looks terrible. at least not worse than a lot other champs. but either way, i doubt they will change a whole lot about his appearance with a vu. so that makes it rather more likely that its one they suddenly throw in between the big ones.

if you look at the mask with the 6 eyes and the way the hair comes out of the helmet, it kinda looks like jax.
