Is the Darius rework coming within 3 patches?
Scruffy said it was coming very soon so I was wondering if it's within 3 patches.

It's very likely it will.
HOLY GUACAMOLE. I am very excited for it, Darius is one of my favorite champions (including theme, backstory, and gameplay)
Thanks for the fast response ;)
When he's reworked pls don't change his VO. I want my unmatched power to stay ;_;
I don't think that they're planning on giving him a VU of some sorts, so I'm pretty sure that a new voiceover for him is off the table for now.
plot twist in 3 patches we will get noxus event.
It's very likely it will.
Meddler are there any plans for Zed compensation buffs now that he is absolutely useless in competitive play? When was the last time a champion was picked in the LCS and the player didn't use his ultimate even once, because to do so, would be suicide?
You guys overnerfed Zed and you know it, you are not stupid, the question is, are you going to wait for worlds until you buff him and make him viable, like you did last year, or will you buff him soon? We all know how loved Zed is by people watching competitive games in LCS/Worlds, those flashy plays are more entertaining then 20m afk farming mages/varus mid.
Cheers, hope you have the guts and decency to answer.
I'm pretty sure they don't have an answer lol. Riot wasn't even able to answer a single one of the Threads about the new HUD. They simply ignored it. Riot seems to give a shit about the players. Lately i've only seen them answering Game Invites (1k wins etc.), some posts about their new skins (for example a thread about cottontail fizz) and some rework stuff in progress. It's very likely that Riot is just doing whatever they want with the game right now. And slowly but surely they will reach a point where many players leave the game. Similar to WoW in the past.

People left WoW because Ghostcrawler ruined the game balance in PvP and PvE, they changed the core of an MMORPG, they took the RP out of it when they made all classes the same, no more unique roles, they made leveling easier so the world became smaller, no longer a world you could get lost in, pair that with flying mounts and massive portals/teleports, dungeon finder, raid finder and many more problems. Vanilla and TBC were amazing, WOTLK was good, but it started the downfall of WoW. I quit after WotlK.
I doubt this will happen to LoL, because its hard to change to core game play of LoL. LoL would die if they would take away items, or CS'ing, or jungling or brushes/wards, as long as the core stays the same, game will go on, WoW was destroyed because the core of the game was changed.
It's so destroyed that it still has millions upon millions of players on it yet.

Dropping frmo 13m+ to 5m is being destroyed, stay clueless.
Because the balance changes of one man can drop over 8 million players from the game, it can't possibly be anything else.
Though who am I kidding? I don't give a shit about MMOs.

Yes they can and yes they did, thanks to Ghostcrawler :) Ofc you don't give a shit about MMOs, they are dead atm, maybe Star Citizen can revive the genre, will see.
no the genre is dead because very few people have the time to grind out what makes MMOs fun. They aren't very casual friendly especially when you stack them up against games like COD (which sucks) and even league.

You realize it was 2 years in-between the last two times Gangplank was picked in the LCS? Zed can wait, other champions need their turn.
Oh, and Incarnation didn't use his ultimate because he was horrible at judging the situation and knowing what to do. Remember his little dance around Baron, all by himself, while the other team took it? It was like he didn't know if he should try for a steal or if he should go back and defend base. In the end, he did neither.
When Keane can use Urgot's suicidal ultimate multiple times a game, there's no reason Incarnation can't use his ultimate once.

Urgot "suicide" ult achieves something, Zeds ult doesn't achieve anything. You get a delayed TP behind target and you can't get out for 1 sec, so they will just turn on you and 1 shot you. And Incarnation is terrible, yet he is super high elo pro player, rofl, your opinion on him is meaningless, he is superior to you.

My opinion? Where did I state my opinion? That dance around baron is a fact. Him never ulting an Ezreal (who he counter picked) in lane, before Hourglass was completed, is a fact.
Regardless of if Incarnation is superior to me, he's inferior to his team and the LCS. I don't watch much of the NA LCS, but tuning in to C9 games has always been a "lets watch as Incarnation does nothing useful for his team". I've heard he's doing better with Orianna now, but he's also got Hai to make the decisions for him.
If you Ult ezreal as Zed, he just E's away and unloads his own combo on you. You can't avoid it other than wasting a W shadow before, which further lowers your chance of killing him. I didn't watch the P/B for that game, but I wouldn't think new Zed is a counter to runeglaive Ez.
Obviously Incarnation thought Zed was a counter, since he was the last pick after seeing the enemy had Ezreal for the mid lane.
I could see it maybe working if as soon as you land you throw out your own shadow and port to it to dodge the skill shots. I don't know the timings on how that works out, but Zed could probably dodge at least one spell and attack Ezreal while all of Ezreal's abilities are on cooldown.

You DID read the patch notes, right? Where Runeglaive only works on jungle monsters?
We're chatting about a specific game in the LCS which was played before patch 5.14
And I get that - I'm saying it's not going to be a thing for much longer. I've never liked Incarnati0n, and thought he deserved his ban. I've also said that he probably just ddos'd his way up the ladder (though that's just me being snarky). Then I got hated on it. Then he pulls crap like this in his games, and I just laugh at everyone who thought he was so incredible. Hiring him skewered his team, and it shows.
I know, I do play League. Since when is incarnation banned? Well i'm sure he has his fanboys, posting anything on boards gets you downvotes, doesn't matter how much sense it makes.
You do realize that incarnation was one of like 10 people in the league community that had a lifetime ban......
Nope, didn't know that. Was it overturned?
He was banned from competative a long time ago. Then Reddit got on the story going, "HE'S A GOOD PLAYER UNBAN HIM." I mean, even his smurfs were Ban on Sight. .-. Yeah... I don't get it, really. I'm a FNatic girl - my team went undefeated this split - I'm good. xD
EDIT: Someone above me linked the story! Here you go!
Haha, I have since done some research. He looks so innocent in his games, I would never have known. Seems like it was a little stupid to just overturn his ban like that with no other punishment, he wasn't even banned for that long. Yeah me too, are you a European playing on NA or actually American. Gotta be a first that I've seen an American cheering for a European team.
UOL UOL!! I support C9 and UOL, C9 because they seem like regular guys doing their thing (well, plus hai), and UoL because they're just so fun to watch, with their bloodbathy, fuck the meta kinda style.

If someone can one shot a zed after he uses his ult either the enemy Zed ulted is either fed, Zed is behind, Zed is low health, Zed ults enemy under tower, or Zed gets CC'd right when he ults, or combination of those. Sorry that Zed needed counterplay to his ult. It was one of the many ults that could be used to dive someone under tower without taking a single towershot.
Sorry he is not as viable as he once was in the pro scene due to the tank meta, but as stated above there are plenty of other champs that need help. Zed is still viable in soloq. He can still outplay other champs.

He already had counter play to his ult, a lot actually:

Now he is a useless trash tier pick in competitive play, this is a fact.
Summoner Spell, early 1250g, first 3000g.. that's a huge expense to pay to deal with a single champion, he's not unplayable, those are counter play items but not directed at Zed, as it was noted before he's a champion that used to be able to towerdive-kill others without taking a single tower shot.. THAT kind of mobility is too much and it had to be tuned down.
He's still a great split-pusher and Assassin, just riskier than before, his damage didn't drop nor did his 'outplay' potential.

Speaking of Keane, before Zed got nerfed, Keane has a game where he used Zeds ultimate twice, both times it was to get away, not to kill. Needless to say he lost that game and had no impact whatsoever but this was before Zed got a tiny wait time after using his ultimate.
how major is the rework?
It's very likely it will.
Tell us something about his rework please! Is he going to be useful in competetive games? I'd like to see him as a king of solo queue and really strong champ in pro games as well. For example
already used to be like that. Why not Darius
Is he staying a lane bully?
Is he keeping his ult?
It's very likely it will.
Just to clarify, the rework will just be a minor gameplay one, right?
Not Fiora level, at least visual wise?
no
Wait what darius rework? Please tell me it keeps him as the king of all lane bullys? Thats why i play darius why anyone plays darius Keep the fundamentals of his kit keep the dunk keep the lane bully.
Ok so now the question becomes...what's the scope of this update? Viktor/Ashe level? WIll it involve a visual update aswell?
and taric the 5 YEARS OLD beta champion has to wait even longer ? u know what ? im done with your riot not gonna wait for the gems to be polished anymore u done fked it up cya.
I generally appreciate rework but i think it's not a fine move to put him on sale and then rework him 2-3 weeks later. People who got him cause they like the old kit will complain. You are already setting up the blamegame for yourself. I would strongly advise against such strategy.
Is the Ao Shin coming within 3 months?
Why is Darius getting a rework? He's fine as is. I'd expect Poppy or Yorick to get one over him.
there is at least one of you in every thread... That isn't how things work. Multiple teams each have their own task. Darius is most likely a much simpler/smaller rework than the totally overhaul of those 2 champs meaning the team is able to develop and test it in a much smaller time span. it isn't a "its ONE change, it should take the same time as all the other changes that come out" situation like everyone that isn't in the industry thinks. Its like getting pissed off that the team of workers building you house is taking longer that the team of workers redoing your neighbor's bathroom.
Darius is just getting a small rework with an ability or two (think Soraka, Veigar, etc.) Poppy and Yorick are getting complete overhauls (think Karma, Sion, etc.)
I don't think you meant to say Soraka there. Trundle or Miss Fortune would be better examples of a champion which didn't change much in their reworks, Soraka's entire kit and her entire role in fact was changed massively.

He's pretty unfun to lane against as most melee champs.
