never felt so consistently inconsequential in this game as I do top

I can lose lane, I can win hard, I can go even, none of it matters. What always ends up happening is my other lanes will lose and my lane outcome means nothing, or on the rare occasion they'll win and my lane outcome means nothing. If I lost lane then I'm just being carried, if I win then we just end a little faster

seriously considering swapping to jungle and mid/ADC just so I can at least try to prevent an important lane from feeding

I am a jungle main and I have noticed that no mater what I do my team will flame me for not ganking enough or not getting dragon when im half way across the map its gotten to the point where I bought Leona and now im a support main. the cc is just tooooo much power I love it and no matter how bad my adc is at farming or my team is at killing I can cc the crap out of enemies carry and we win most teamfights

so ya try other lanes you never know what might be a good carry out of bronze for you

Depends

Don't play Yasuo top or a carry in general and expect to win when you have no frontline

A good Tank will carry the game, it all comes down to using your abilities as best as you can.

I play juggernauts, Illaoi mostly since I think I'm improving a lot with her

I can do great in lane but regardless of what I do with my lead my team won't get anything done, or they'll feed and even with my lead on enemy top I won't be durable enough to split safely and certainly not teamfight

I don't remember gold being this frustrating last season lol, I feel like trash losing so many guaranteed wins

Make sure you are taking tp and using it effectively. Always expect your other lanes are going to lose. Just have them ward and use that tp to gank and help them turn the lane around. Also if you are winning lane hard. Take that tower asap and move to mid/bot and help them seige and force teamfights.

You will get there, this season has been rough for most people.

You should definitely be teamfighting as Illaoi, so if you aren't durable enough, well, try to get durable enough or face the fact that two fed champions (enemy team) are better than one (you).

Obviously you can't expect to win a game where your entire team feeds. Imagine the other side: We won every single lane, except top fed so their Illaoi came down and 1v5'd. It just happens that your champion of choice isn't too good at roaming to help other lanes, although having your jungler/mid come top for some free kill gold is a good way to help your team.

last game this morning I couldn't get my team to follow my calls, I went 9-1 for most the game and got an inhib solo, they couldn't even take an inner despite all attention being on me, no dragon no baron, nothing

idk I try not to be toxic in chat because I don't want to hurt my team but they've been making it really hard lately

Sadly, while you deserved a win, your team didn't. The game is how it is, and things like this make it very difficult for shit players to be solocarried. While it's unfair for you, it's completely fair for the rest of your team.

and if you get autofilled then you are most likely gonna get support any ways

i love maokai ... one of my favs , most played the last 3 yrs... i love to branch slap some hoes on the rift

however last game last night i was lagging (intermittent connection with my ISP) and i faced a talon who took full advantage of it ...

he killed me twice with out me knowing he was hitting me due to lag , fml

but i love me some tree

but i know your "higher rank " than me and im an unranked scrub who cant make it to bronze... but if you want some ideas and theory around maokai and playing him feel free to hit me up in client... i have alot of games on him and i have played him top,jungle , mid and support

havent figured out how to play him adc yet

Top lane's still fine

Just a few stupid outliers but a lot of them got nerfed like Jayce and Camille

Riven and Quinn are problems but rest of the shit is pretty good

There's been times where top lane has been much worse

I think exhaust screws over assassins more but I'm just glad everyone agrees it's a problem.

For me, personally, top lane is just hell. I have no team presence unless the team is top with me. If I leave lane, I fall behind the enemy top. If I do well in top, the enemy camps the ever living crap out of me. If I do poorly then the enemy top snowballs hard and no one can help me.

I'd rather play my worst role (ADC) than go on attempting to play top.
