I personally do no use my pinky for anything, i use my index finger for e+r and my pinky rests on my shift key, i have always played any moba/diablo esque game this way, and my brother says i'm a werido T.T, do you use your pinky while playing?

Catastrop1 votesI tried doing this, but it just felt awkward. I just use Index, Middle and Ring for anything regarding TAB,Q,W,E,R,1,2,3,4,5,6 and Thumb for D,F. About the only thing I use my Pinky for is Self-Casting.

I actually developed this really really bad quirk of hitting Tab to speed up game pace when I was younger. So, my pinky naturally hovers over the Tab key, and I'll find myself tapping a key periodically out of reflex. It's proven to be too difficult, but at least I managed to curl it slightly and just hit Caps Lock instead of Tab, so it's of lesser consequence.
Ring on Q, Middle on W, Index on E; simple drop-down for Flash on D and slide over for ultimate R/combat summoner F.

It does make ward-hopping a little more natural. I actually have my Sightstone usually on 3. So Middle goes from W to 3, which naturally slides my hand to the right already, and my Index is already nearly over R already. It makes Insec plays a lot easier.

But then again, my abilities are on UIOP, not QWER, because I use my right hand for spells because I'm left handed.

Toa Innodence1 votesI have my keys bound so that my level ups are on zxcv for qwer respectively. that way I just drop the respective finger down when I need to level up. similarly I have attackmove on my fourth mouse button so I can stutterstep by alternating between right mouse button and mb4. I also have shop bound to s, pings to t, camera unlock to g, trinket to 5 and slots 1-3 on numbers 2-4. I have summoner on d and flash on f and left a and b alone. finally I have mb5 which I use as a spam taunt.

Gentzer1 votesI have a sort of gaming keyboard, which has a circular side panel with all the common gaming keys on it, so I have pinky on Q, and my thumb on that side panel's spacebar (which I have bound to my 1st item slot for item actives)
J Eevo1 votesI use my pinky to issue A-move commands (shift + click) which as you mentioned came mostly from diablo where holding shift would hold you in place and allow you to force your character to swing at the air. Attack moving is actually really usefull if you're moving into a brush or trying to target someone as soon as they leave stealth as your champion will move until encountering a target after which it'll automatically attack the nearest one. And since I use my pinky for it instead of my ring finger I'm confident about being able to Q someone fast if need be.
