PSA: check your laner's status before u gank

Dont gank when: -a big wave crashing into ur laner's towet -your laner is low in hp -your laner has no resource(mana, energy, etc) -your laner's important ability is in cd(ie annie just used her stun on a minion) -your laner had fed the enemy very hard -your laner's position is too far away from the enemy laner to impact the gank

As a jungler who does this things, I agree. However, as a laner:

  • Don't ping for a gank, have me burn their flash just for you to get a kill and then state you had to do it all yourself
  • Also, just because I am ganking doesn't mean you have to run away from that large wave you have, farm it as not all jungle ganks are for a kill sometimes just showing to the lane every once in a while will make them scared
  • Finally, just because their jungler ganked you and I haven't ganked for you doesn't make their jungle better. Try to actually watch what is happening in every lane. Also if you are constantly being ganked maybe you are setting yourself up for it?

If a laner can now follow up to a gank they should always ping and note the jungler that they cant help.

Altho a lot of jungler dont understand what I mean when i am under tower with 20 mana and pinging them back. At least say 85% of them had no clue what i meant. Idk why isnt it kinda clear i was pinging them back?

That depends pn what you want from the gank. If you want a kill, then your right. But if your laner has a hard time in lane, just zoneing the opponent away so your laner can safely catch the big wave under his turret or pushing the wave out together while he's loww so he can recall without loosing the tower and much cs already can help alot. The idea that a gank is only succedfull when it ends with a kill is just wrong. Many matchups are close, and burning some mana and hp often is enough to swing the lane in your favor, though granted, the jungler himself gets little reward for that.
