She is op as long as all her skill shots are hitting. For example try to fight Kalista with Lux....... She works for the same reason Ezreal works.

If she's hooked, cc'ed, faces any juking assasins then she is screwed.

I main thresh and trust me I love facing Lux's, easy win for me always. But when I play Lux it's also an easy win.
