Since Yi got nerfed this patch can we finally get a fix on some of his alpha strike bugs?

It seems to be a no brainer that alpha strike should be more reliable if Riot wants to push for a glass cannon playstyle on yi. Yi's been out for years I shouldn't be still taking damage mid-alpha strike or it not going on cooldown properly.
