item 3140 It may no longer remove debuffs( (ಠ_ಠ)--> Zed) , but it still removes cc. Plus it has a 90 second cooldown to Lissandra's 130-80, which by the time it is in the 80-44(with 45% CDR) cooldown range you should no longer be in the laning phase.

And don't forget summoner 1 or item 3222(suggested for the support if you cannot use it at all either), if you cannot effectively use QSS.

So there is counterplay, just none that you seem to know of/use.

Rushing qss first item seems like the smart decision as any melee. Keep it up with the advice. Lissandra and decent jungle can make sure someone is shut down after she gets 6 and before the damn enemy laner can even afford his first item.

I can usually afford 1300 gold, as a support, before lvl 6. Why wouldn't you be able to to do so as a mid laner, who, by the way, gets to farm?

Not to mention, summoner 1 summoner 1 summoner 1 summoner 1 summoner 1! (Friendship chain! WOOT!) Honestly, if her ult bothers you so much, take precautions against it!
