Mordekaiser and Vladimir could use some buffs

We have 2 champions here who are in desperate need of buffs. They both NEED spellvamp to do well, but we can't buff spellvamp items cuz Akali. Reducing the cost of their spells would help them a lot without making them too OP. Their damage wouldn't even be buffed at all (god forbid we ever increase their ratios). Literally all this would do is help them survive lane, and maybe have a shot at mid/late game. While other champions have sustain built into their kits, Morde and Vlad have to spend health to trade with their opponents. It's a losing battle all game. I think their damage is fine as is. Just make laning phase a little easier. That's all I'm asking here.

Don't need to loose to someone to figure out there is a problem when 1 champion forces an entire stat to be kept fairly weak just by his mere existence, maybe if they take away his self heal point and click nuke, so his HP costs actually mean some thing we will talk,

I think Vladimir is fine. He does massive AOE damage and past 9 he's a beast in teamfights. Mordekaiser does need just a tiny bit of love, as too much and he might be too good. His ultimate already gives him massive fighting power.

Pretty sure Vladimir is the reason Spellvamp can't be buffed. Don't get me wrong, I love playing him, he's a late game monster. But if it weren't for him, Spell vamp could be buffed and Akali could actually have her sustain slightly nerfed. Vlad is just too strong once he gets rolling, get your tides of blood stacked and suddenly you're dealing massive damage. All you need is a hextech revolver and you're set.

Morde needs to be able to touch things, maybe at the cost of a base stat reduction

I would honestly ban vlad everytime I knew an opponent wanted to play him, if that were possible. When he gets some CDR he can be in his pool like every 4 seconds, and the sustained damage from him is insane. If vlad gets buffed, he will be banned every game. Morde es numero UNO, so no buffs there either

Vlad and Morde are too of the absolute best champs late game. They need nerfed more than buffed if anything. They can 1v5 the other team once they have their items.

Vlad is fine.

Morde I suggest that his W give a significant movement speed buff ala Karma's shield for a small window. Something like a 40/45/50/55/60% movement speed buff for 1.5 seconds. That would help his major weakness for being a lane pusher that's incredibly easy to gank. And it wouldnt require a total rework, just add that on his W and see how it goes.

You know if he misses his abilities or doesn't make a play he still loses health right? There's actually some risk involved playing Vladimir. If you screw up you accomplish nothing and just lose a ton of health. And if you want to talk about damage+sustain, let's talk about Swain. Or Irelia, or Garen, or Yorick, or Renekton, or Tryndamere (and many other top laners). And guess what? They get it FREE. They don't have to invest in masteries, runes, or items to get it. They just get a ton of free sustain all game (in addition to their damage).

Uhm... No. Vladimir Vlad is a monster late game. He is even more annoying than Nasus and you are asking to remove his weakness?

Mordekaiser is a lane bully which basically can mitigate any damage back thanks to his passive. Buff his sustain and basically there is no pushing him out of lane anyymore
