How to win more games in ranked

This is a neat and reliable exploit I used to win more games in ranked. Basically you want to go to this website, right here: https://na.op.gg/ and look up your teammates KDA. If they have a score of 10/5/10 you basically want to stay for the duration of the queque, if they have a kda of say, 1/10/1 it's a good idea to dodge. Using this method improves your chances of winning.

As much as this is a troll post, it has a lot of truth to it.

Isn't a dodge a loss?

It lowers your LP, and counts as a loss if in a series, as well as gives you a time penalty before queuing up. Your MMR remains unchanged though, so in the long run it can be beneficial perhaps.

It will likely lower the speed of your climb (assuming you do indeed belong at a higher elo and you'd win >50% under normal conditions anyway), since you'd play fewer matches as you wait for the time penalty to wear off, and you'd need to win an extra match to replace the LP every couple of dodges. Theres no guarantee that you will win the matches you play anyway, as kda isn't everything, and every member of your team probably doesn't have an amazing average kda, not to mention theres no telling if your oppoenents team has the same or better ones.

Yeah I find dodges pointless. Most people are wrong when they think they deserve higher rank anyways.

I notice the OP has a 38% winrate, so it doesn't appear to be working out for them.

If one wanted to be extremely picky with their teammates and dodge unless they spotted an obvious smurf, and only do one dodge per day in order to minimise LP losses (meaning most days they wouldn't actually get to play any ranked games), over the course of a season someone might be able to get an 'undeserved' 70%+ winrate if they consistently manage to get carried via smurfs, and perhaps get a few divisions higher than they otherwise would, but it'd require a huge amount of patience, and if you're not actually playing the game most of the season then you sortof have to wonder what the point is.

Dodges are good when picks/bans were really poor for your side and really good for theirs. Also when there's infighting or a brat before the game even starts.

Despite what people want to believe, many games actually are won/lost in champion select.

Or you could just get good?

Takes too much effort.
