Its been over a year since we had a support
Since then we have had:
2 junglers
1 ADC
2 Top Laners
2 Mid Laners
And now we are getting ANOTHER top laner...

legionnaire991 votesi think support is the hardiest to come up with new ideas do to they still need to be support
meohmichael1 votesI personally consider Ivern a support character.
I mean, he roots people and shields his allies and his ultimate knocks up enemies, on top of his vision control and lack of literally being able to attack jungle creatures. I think he's more like a 2nd support

thats because he IS a support.
a support champion and a duo lane support are not neccessarily the same thing even when they often overlap. i dont think riot particularly designs champions as bot lane supports all that often, because a lot of champions, and even new champion releases tend to fall into that position on their own.
Critmaster Garen1 votesriot doesnt design for specific roles. they try to keep a certain balace with their champion releases, but they release champions by character design first and foremost.
they release the champion they think is the best and most interesting concept they could come up with. if that happens to be another fighter after kled, then it is what it is.
though i have to say i find this particular champion concept particularly shitty. those sword legs look as dumb as her champion title (seriously did a 15 year old come up with that?). but thats my personal taste.
