Why does Darius' R fear surrounding minions?

someone just got cut in half by an enraged noxus general and your a tiny minion wouldn't you be scared?

Probably for comedic effect as the fear doesnt really do anything useful

Taking off minions aggro for a short amount of time is the only thing that comes into my mind. Nothing significant, but I can imagine it helping given how aggresive you play as Darius in lane.

Probably so he can chase down the rest of your team without being minion blocked.

Not that I'm in the business of buffing Darius because I think he's a brainless meatshield that also hits like a truck, but he should be given a combination of ghost, but while passing through minions also damages them. And to add some flavor, that includes friendly minions.
