Why is Kennen allowed in Blood Moon but not Wukong?

Wukong assassinates way better than Kennen - in fact, Kennen does not assassinate. Wukong is more of a fighter, but then there's Yasuo/Riven/Lee Sin. Why not give the monkey some love?

Lee I can understand being in the mode, but not Riven, Kennen, and Shaco. Riven is a bruiser, not an assassin as well as having way to much hard CC in her kit. Kennen is by no means an assassin, especially after the changes done to his W and ult. Shaco's playstyle is to cowardly for the game mode with his stealth blink, deception ult, and those stupid fear boxes that take 0 skill to even use while they do a retarded amount of damage in this mode.

Yes I'm salty about pussy Shaco players that are scared to play the mode using a champion that requires even half a brain cell to use because they'd rather keep their helmets on tight.

Yi, Xin, and Wukong should be in the mode over those 3.

Ok, sorry. But I think she's in because her damage output is a bit crazy lately. And on top of that, she has plenty of gap closers and a stun. As well as an execute ult.

Kennen needs a rework already he deals to much damage while being Tanky.

While they are at it remove Zhonyas and Maw from the Assassin game mode because those two items are to Tanky for a mode that is made for the glass cannons that are known as Assassins.

Camille, Kennen, Riven and Yasuo don't belong in the game mode at all. They even added Riven just for this VS event even though they knew before this she doesn't belong. Sadly marketing > actual gameplay for Riot apparently since Camille was new when game mode was added so they included her, and Kennen and Yasuo both had Blood Moon skins so they wanted to put them in here, and now we have the new Riven skin.

Riot explicitly mentioned Master Yi and why he's not allowed. Turns out in internal play testing the best way to play him was as a Meditate Tank and that completely removed all traces of fun in that mode. If you didn't have hard CC to interrupt his meditate you'd never be able to kill him, and hard CC is very sparse in this mode.

As a 190k wukong main and 180k rengar main as well I honestly think after all the nerfs wukong is now more of an assassin than rengar. Rengar's q takes too long to get off to kill someone but wukong with items like item 3142 item 3147 item 1001 (of your choice) item 3071 item 3035 can assassinate faster than rengar.

Both are weak pick. Wukong is more predictable. Rengar have a better early and a better lv6 spike. But Rengar fall harder than my Monkey (>700k Wu here)

ahri is like 20% assasin... nidalee is like 95% assasin. in fact u flat out dont build her ranged poke anymore becuase it donest work in jungle.. and she cant lane.. so... yeah she is 100% assassin regardless of what riot says

Cause it's not random.All game modes are tested on PBE in advance. So Riot giving us Ascension and Poro King every other week while giving us URF like 3 times in a year is intentional.

Blood Moon is part of Japanese feudal background and Wukong is from a Chinese mythology of the monkey king Son Wukong or the more modernized popular story of Son Goku from DBZ was based on that myth. Blood Moon is part of a different regional background stemming from Japan. I'm not exactly sure why Kallista gets one though but if we're basing this on her lore, Japan is known for being superstitious and vengeful spirit/demon is part of their superstitious beliefs.

I seriously doubt Wukong will ever get a Blood Moon skin. It'd be like giving Ahri blood moon. Nine tailed fox is also a Chinese/Korean myth.

Elise does, Nidalee is hybrid artillery, Jarvan doesn't make any sense, Annie doesn't make any sense, Quinn isn't really that much of an assassin or slayer, and Nocturne's ult would bee too annoying in the game mode.

"Assassins specialize in infiltrating enemy lines with their unrivaled mobility" Flag and Drag + Ult, check "to quickly dispatch high-priority targets" Crazy burst? Check. "Assassins must put them themselves into dangerous positions in order to execute their targets" Abilties that put him into the enemies' faces? Check. "Luckily, they often have defensive tricks up their sleeves that, if used cleverly, allow them to effectively avoid incoming damage." Shield + Using his ult, then flag and dragging away? Check.

Jarvan is definetly worthy of a roster in this gamemode.
