I'm having the worst luck with him. Are there any jungle mains that can tell me if this guy is even worth playing as? EVERYONE avoids my Q, my W is too weak, my E's range is too short and no one ever gets hit by a minion, and his ult can be dodged so easily. Champions such as Zed and Leblanc are 100% ungankable because you can't even catch them.

Spit a minion from the lane at them with e. It does more damage and it's harder to avoid. Use q to slow them. Use a full charged one after you ult from a bush.
Pop your shield before a gank so you can blow it on their backs. If you die and can't kill them whack their tower.
Wait for the fight to start, then ult in and Q while they are stunned
