How do I use vayne early game?

I can't cs, I can't go all in, I can't trade without losing massive hp, I can't kill, I can't deal damage unless w is proc'ed, etc...

what is the secret to vayne? I honestly don't understand how ANYONE could think she's viable this season! Forgive me for my immature rant right now; I'm just having a bad streak with vayne, and I can't carry the game with less than 3 deaths. I always get anywhere between 5-12 deaths.

My cs is only 20-30 at 10 mins. If i'm on the lead, I still get less than 50 cs. I only proc w on an enemy champion 25% of the time because THEY ESCAPE TOO QUICKLY. I can't condemn ANYONE, either.

What. Do. I. Do?!

To learn a specific ADC, start out simply by focusing ONLY on cs.

You WILL get hit You WILL miss cs at first

once you get this down, this is the foundation for your playstyle.

Once you stop missing CS, start getting comfortable. Mix CS'ing with poking, understand how your abilities work and what itemization is best on her.

Normal mode will help you if you take these steps, trust me. you will be plased in matches with people that have similar MMR so the learning curve won't be so difficult.

play mostly passive, avoid early ability trading. you'll want to wait for at least level 2 where you have tumble/condemn, then you might be able to win a trade. otherwise you'll probably have to wait for a few items.

you can punish when they make mistakes, thats ok, just be sure to avoid early all ins, at the minimum you want to get your stun off + whatever your support can dish out.

When is it safe to go all in? And how do I use condemn if they're no where near a wall? Do I just not use it at all?

then you're probably out of position / mismanaged your lane, if you feel the need to condemn if theres no nearby wall, in addition you can save condemn till after they use their gap closer to get them away and probably save your life.

go all in when you're 6 or they're generally low hp/you know you can finish them off. if you can tumble to avoid their skill shot, do it.

there really isn't an acceptable time unless your jungler is here, or they're soooo far up the lane or made a mistake that you have that option.

Vayne actually doesn't do well with crit. She does much better with attack speed. So items like: item 3153 item 3087 item 3094 item 3046 These allow her to quickly get her W stacks on a single target. Which is her primary job.

I know 3 of the items have crit in their stats but their attack speed is the main reason for their purchase.

Well how do I trade with vayne? her Q doesn't push me far enough. I don't know how to condemn people to walls. I don't know when to ult. Her AA range is FAR TOO SHORT.

This is why she is one of (if not THE) most mechanically challenging Marksmen in the game. Her Q is a (literal) tumble that moves her a short distance. It then amplifies her next auto attack to deal increased damage. But its mainly used for positioning. Her Condemn is best used when the target is next to a wall. This way it stuns the target when they get Condemned into the wall allowing you to get some free hits for her Silver Bolt procs. Practicing to use her in bots is probably a great start to learn how she works.

So instead try playing her in bots instead of going into normals or even ranked. This might help you play her better. If not, it might help you better understand how to shutdown an enemy Vayne instead.

Side note: Her early game is when she is supposed to be at her weakest anyways.

I know that it's her weakest. I just don't know how to get past that phase and succeed, without dying enough times to make my teammates cry.

Supports have a HUGE effect on Vayne from what I understand. Someone with strong CC (or REALLY good peel) work great with her. Though both knowing how/when to engage with a Vayne should help a lot. Janna when used by a skilled player makes a great complementing support to a Vayne. Being on the same page at all times though is what really makes this combo work.

I started playing Vayne (and stopped a week ago) about a month ago. My first game I went 0/10/2. I then proceeded to call my friend to see if he play support. It went much better. Play her when you have a support that can peel for you or if you can DuoQ. I like playing her with Janna, sometimes even Karma. I like Karma support since she can poke heavily for me to finish them off, and she can peel. Farm under tower. Missing a lot of CS is better than dying and losing a lot of CS. I build R.F and Static, then BoRK or P.D. When you are trading, you do not need to always hit the 3rd silver bolts. If you get only the first two the enemy will not want to get hit by the 3rd. Use this as a zoning tool to CS. Also use Condemn as a really sucky peel if all else fails. After using tumble your next aa will do more damage. I usually don't tumble to start a trade, so you usually should tumble at the end of trading. But I'm not that great at ADC and im only silver so. Take this with a grain of salt. Not sure if it will work in gold.

You Outrade every adc except Draven,Lucian and Graves at lv 4,farm up to Blade of the Ruined King and then you can D D D D Duel everyone in the game. Vayne is braindead champ.
