Riot's new state of mind : designing items for said champion needs to stop

This is just breaking these champions for the sake of breaking them, just stop. An item should be reliant on an entire class, not made for a single champion (well except for but shut up)

You know, I'm talking about on , or on If you keep following this mentality by favoring champions because of their "unique design", stop making "unique designs". Something being unique doesn't mean for it to be great to face or to play, just look at and which are currently the most hated champions in the game (and since his release actually). And also once again, if you want to make a unique design, don't move the game around it. You have to think before releasing a champion, and not starting to release broken shit just for this specific champion to force players to play it (I can't fucking believe Jhin Stormrazor hail of blades isn't hotfixed yet)

I mean, they're not intentionally designing items for just Jhin and Lucian -- those two just happen to get more OUT of those items. Stormrazor's power is also a bit out of line at the moment comparatively, and that's making characters with powerful spells who might normally like it (like Kai'Sa or Xayah) ignore it in favor of Stormrazor.

The goal was a noble one -- make multiple styles of Marksman viable by creating items that support multiple designs. The landing just wasn't 100%.

Who is the only marksmen being truly reliant on his abilities ? Lucian All the other ones are aa-based and rely on their auto-attack to deal most of their damage Even the well known "AD caster MissFortune " doesn't rely on her abilities at all, only R and Q

It says "looking at you, Jhin" because he's the obvious long-time-between-attacks guy. He's not the ONLY one. Just the most obvious.

Again, same thing -- he's the most OBVIOUS beneficiary, but not the only one.

Just because the item has an outsized effect on two champions doesn't mean it was designed solely for those two.

I agree. If anything, when they then nerf the champion to "balance" it around the item, it forces that champ into building that item and ruining build diversity.

Then few patches later, they pull a Sejuani on the champ by rightfully nerfing the item and forgetting about the champ.
