Best support for KogMaw ?

Good pokes and great at catching enemies out. Plus, supplies KM with some mobility with his lantern whereas the squishy dog monster has none of its own.

Provides him with an abundance of protection, peels, and engages. Great for farming, poking, and killing.

A great support for just about any ADC with her kit that provides both protection, mobility, poke, and CC. Although not tanky herself, she's great at keeping both herself and her lane partner safe and deadly.

The one stop shop for a tanky support with a kit full of hard CC. Her low CD aoe ult helps assure you either a secured kill or a quick escape. And in those instances in which you die, she can at least root a low health enemy to the spot so you can drag the poor bastard down to Hell with you.

Welcome to the kill zone in which you and your lane partner will most likely out range your enemies. Her roots and slows will make utilizing your massive attack speed as well as your ult both easy and safe.

Turns enemies into still targets for you to go to town. It's nice to have his hook land on a champion, but not always necessary because he can just use it as a means of closing the distance between himself and a target.

A support with a deceptively long range and outrageous poke. You and her will be capable of keeping enemies at a distance while issuing a massive dose of pain and death to just about anyone who crosses the line. You've similar passives as well that force enemies to consider how best to engage you or risk gaining one kill for two or more deaths.

Thresh, Braum, Leona and Janna I think make some of the best supports for Kog. The three tanks I mentioned are nice with him because of the lock down potential they have when it comes to engaging to set kog up really nice to get all his damage off before the other champs can close the gap on his squishy immobile self. Then there is Janna who has probably the best kit to peel for any carry and a nice ad buff when you shield an ally. Since kog is so immobile and squishy Janna makes perfect sense to keep him safe in a team fight. Very hard for any champ to make it to kog when there is a good Janna around!

Any of the tank supports seem to do very well with him Naut, Leo, Thresh, Tahm as they can lock them down for a good R strike and subsequent burn down. Alternatively poke supports; Lux or Morgana work great to hit the Q, soil / prism.

Probably either Morgana or Leona. Leona is great at keeping people locked down while Kog damages them from range, and Morgana's shield makes it much easier for him to keep his distance
