Playing adc with a support that refuses to buy a sightstone is very frustrating.

It's not fun only having your blue trinket for vision because you support is being selfish. If you say "buy a sightstone yourself you entitled adc main" you need to learn that an adc who invests gold into vision will do way less damage.

And you need to learn to play around where your enemies are, also known as STAY OUT OF THE BLACK FOG OF DEATH. I personally don't get Sight Stone until level 9, because you shouldn't be out of lane often enough to use it before then. My mana regeneration for heal spamming is A LOT more important to you in lane than my spending 800 gold to put up a ward on the other end of the river we wont need.

As I said, if you don't see the enemy on what vision you have assume they are right next to you. Learning that pretty much stopped all of my face checking deaths.

Vision wins game, this is something you should learn asap if you plan on being a support main. An early sightstone means an early sweeper, which in turn means dewarding the enemy, which also means giving opportunities for your jungler to gank, which also means removing opportunities for the enemy jungler to gank.

Without vision, the enemy has to play more defensively, miss CS because of it while you apply pressure without fear of ganks because you are prepared. If you push, apply pressure, you force the enemy jungler and maybe even another lane to gank your lane, removing pressure from other lanes and if they don't gank you, you can bully the enemy bot lane and starve them, effectively removing them from the game.

Vision doesn't win games. People not running into the fog of war blind wins games. 90% of the time if someone wants to kill you and your out of place that pretty little 800g you spent instead of buying usable stats on a utility support ain't gonna save you.

Bottom line, hp users rush the SS, others get it at nine when you should be about done with laning and roaming. Utilizing your gold effectively is WAY more important then spamming wards that 90% of players don't even use.

Oh how completely wrong you are

Right, I will take my S ranks and leave you to your business.

did you just use an imaginary grade from an inaccurate grading system as an excuse to disregard my opinion?

ok then :3

Yes I just took an imaginary pain in the ass to get consistently grade to disregard your opinion. #SupportMain #SSAtNineUnlessOnTank #StayOutOfTheDeathFog

Especially considering the grading system grade you against people of the same rank as you. I'd love to see him get an S outside of Bronze.

This guy is funny, just ignore him though cuz he'll only come back at you with weak comebacks and no real logic

you're also bronze 3...so

edit: it's not just you though, literally everyone here is s5 or below talking about how it's not needed, of course it's not needed in the lowest level of play in existence...people there don't look at the minimap lol

IKR, even in low gold I was wondering why I was even bothering. And FYI, I honestly don't care enough to get back up to gold. Was fine then they started making skins and icons not worth the headache.

i need yet to meet a support who doesn't build sightstone

but even then, people are highly overrating vision. Sure it helps, but your enemies can still gank you even if you have vision (bot lane) depending on how overextanding you are.

No, people aren't highly overrating vision. It is even more important this season because of how snowbally the game has become. 1 death is all it takes to lose your lane. A death that could have been prevented from a single ward. 1 kill is all it takes to win your lane. A kill that could have been gotten from a single pink ward.

XerShade1 votes

The death that could have been prevented had you realized you shouldn't be pushing up into an unsafe zone.

I hate my ADC2 votes

It's unsafe because you didn't ward it.

XerShade1 votes

Yeah no, vision doesn't effect zones of control.

XerShade1 votes

It actually doesn't. Only bronze junglers will have time to sit on it long enough for you to react 10 seconds later. Higher elos have their timings down to the point of RUN RUN I HUNGER!

Anyhow I'm done, enjoy yourselves. I'll enjoy my wins where I put off sight stone until i actually needed it.

In low elo (Silver or Bronze) it's honestly fine. I'm okay with it. Quite frankly, I completely sympathise.

Because when I pick Support and go Vision items, my team feeds and then we have no damage left.

Going full damage as support for some characters allows a slim chance of you carrying the game where your team mates fail. And in Solo Q it's pretty much required to climb.
