Bot games do absolutely NOTHING to teach people how to play

Everyone takes teleport and most of the time you have no jungler. No one focuses on taking objectives and you're just going for kills constantly. I hate to break it to you but this isn't how pvp works most of the time. Whether you're trying to learn a new champ or just learn the game, skip the bot games and jump right into pvp/ranked. You learn absolutely NOTHING in bot games. I understand that sometimes people just want to mess around, but messing around won't help prepare you for pvp/ranked.

so... experienced people that already know what they do are using a mode that is made for beginners and taking advantage of it... ok

sure it doesn't teach you advanced stuff but it still teaches you the basics of game and you should definitely play bot games if you are a new player since going straight into pvp would teach you even less and even frustrate you since now you are facing this person who is going to completely obliterate you with you having no idea what even is happening

But you do....

-You learn what some skills do.... Some snare, some stun. Some are for DPS, some are for mobility. -You learn what rotations you generally should do... -You learn kind of when to go in/not to go in...

-You learn tower range/tower aggro mechanics... -You learn about some of the objectives on the map (Dragon, Baron, Scuttle Crab, Rift Herald, Towers, Nexus) -You learn about super minions....

-You learn about items - and a little about different itemization (you don't buy I.E. on Kayle!) -You learn how to aim/shoot skillshots. Some move faster, some move slower. -You learn what abilities other champions have (its pretty important to know Tryndamere can ult and make himself immortal for a few moments, and that Ziggs has a 'global' ult)/

Telling use that you don't learn anything, man boy.... Sounds like you might actually need to go back to school.

What I meant is it teaches you nothing about pvp. It doesn't prepare you for pvp in the slightest. It only teaches you how to play bots. It teaches people you don't need a jungler to win and everyone can take teleport no matter what role you have.
