Question about HT chest earning

So I know you can earn a chest once per S rank per season per champion, and I know you earn a chest if a party member gets an S rank.

Question is: can I still earn a chest for champion I DID NOT get S rank On but earned a chest In that game because a friend got an S rank?

No any champion you were playing while you earned a chest regardless of whether or not you got the S rank is now ineligible for getting a chest.

I.E. You play Ashe and get a B- rank while your friend plays Teemo and gets an S rank. You get a chest unlocked while on Ashe so even if you get an S rank later with Ashe, you get nothing because you already unlocked a chest with her, even if you didn't actually get the S yourself.
