42 wins 3 losses?

How does this happen without cheating?

Should I report this person? Submit a ticket? They're on my team right now bragging about their record and sharing their OP.GG link.

27 game win streak currently.

42/3 overall.

How is this possible without cheating.

Even master/challenger streamers I watch aren't that good when they do their "Bronze to Challenger" things.

Well looked at them and OP.gg says they were Bronze 4 in season 5 and haven't played ranked since then. They are now Silver 3 with the 42 wins...eh. There are few things that could have happened:

They've improved a lot in the past 2 seasons, which is very possible. They aren't the original owner and is thus being boosted The account was sold and is still pretty much being boosted

Looking over the champions played, some of them are the same from season 5 to now but they do have a drastically different KDA, so I'd say it's one of the last two things I listed.

Yeah how do you go from bronze 4 with pretty garbage win rates to silver 3 with nearly 90% win rates.

Something's fucky.

This is the best joke I've heard all night, thank you.

99.99999% of reports are "false reports with no evidence." or "he hurt my feelings by saying noob."

GTFO with that shit.

I've done nothing wrong by leaving this to Rito to decide.

It's entirely possible at low elo to get a win streak that big. Eventually it'll even itself out once they reach the rank they're suppose to be at. It's unlikely that they're cheating unless you think they're elo boosting or scripting. You can report them but I doubt anything will happen.

I'm gold 5 and I think the highest win streak I ever had ever was like.... 17.

And honestly, I think I got my ass absolutely carried in like... half of those games or more. Just luck.

But 28 games? (including the one we just won)

Something's fucky.

Silent Pace1 votes

Then report them. My highest streak is around 22 games or so and it's happened 4 times to me. It's not impossible and not unheard of, just uncommon and usually happens when a high elo smurf plays in bronze.

Its easy when you're playing in low elo, and you're diamond+ Even I've done it.

See my comments on other posts about Challenger players I've watched. I'm sorry but I just don't agree with you. Challenger players get 10-15 game win streaks at best, from what I've seen. At some point probability has to kick in.

Do you know what boosting is? People do this on a daily basis. It's easy. Probability has little to do with it. Unless my entire team gives up, or we have multiple afks, it's easy to go on large winning streaks in low elo. Even then, a better player probably found someway to win. That's just how it is when you're better than the entire enemy team combined

Maybe your typicall challenger that you watch, smurf and start of in high gold/plat, or has high MMR despite their rank. That's alot harder. but like bronze/silver? Much easier.

I'm not saying boosting is okay, but it is something that happens.

I pretty frequently run into diamonds with 80% winrate IN diamond. Just some challengers smurfing. It's yeah pretty standard actually.

DOUBT

We are a main region, challengers here are actually good at the game. If they play in diamond it is like playing against children for them.

my best winstreak was 20 wins in season 6 from gold 5 to platin 1 skipping gold 4, gold 2, platin 4 and platin 2

I reported. But like I said, I've watched challenger players do the whole "bronze to challenger" thing, and even they don't go on 20+ game win streaks. Nightblu3 in particular is one that I watched, and the most I ever saw him do was like 12 or 13.

We'll see what happens I guess.

To be fair, many of the bronze-challenger playthroughs feature people actually live streaming or otherwise putting on a show, instead of being 100% focused on winning (and as someone in diamond who has a bronze account as well, it's hard to take low elo games seriously even when not trying to put on a show, since it's more fun to screw around a bit or be reckless).

If a challenger or probably even a diamond player was really serious about getting a ridiculous streak and was all in for winning instead of making interesting content, I reckon they could pull some pretty spicy streaks out, especially if they duo'd with someone of a similar skill and mindset.

I see your point, but even then I'd expect like 10-15 game win streaks. At some point probability has to kick in.

28 games is a tad ridiculous.

44/3 is even more ridiculous.

GayFluffyUnicorn1 votes

Where do you get this "probability" ? There is none. You can win 4v5 i already did that. What "probability" should kick in in a PvP game? That he runs into another smurf? Its like saying me fighting a 12 year old IRL i can only win against 20 12yo and then i have to lose to them some times. Nope. Yes PROBABLY i could suffer from a stroke or break my hand in a stupid move but when im THAT MUCH BETTER and stronger i just win.

Are we really at the point now where we get suspicious of people that play well? Oh, right, we were at this point a long time ago.

One of my friends is on a 31 game win streak in ranked. Granted, he got placed in Bronze II and he was Plat I in Season 6, didn't play last season... but he's just a good player that has also had a few lucky breaks (a couple of those games he played a 5v4 so those were auto-wins).

Longest win streak I have ever had in League was 19 games and that was way back in Season 3. I think I won 26 out of 30 games before.

So, yeah, 42 out of 45 is very impressive, but it is not at all impossible.

But if you want to waste time by reporting something like that then be my guest... it's your report weight that suffers, not mine :).

Depends on the champion they're playing. If they're playing Xerath or Twitch with a constant winstreak that's usually a common target for scripters. But even then there's no solid proof without looking at their replays individually.

If it's just something noobstompy like Pantheon or Zed it's possible to have a high winstreak with the proper mechanics. Either way it's really hard to prove someone's cheating. Maybe they're just a really good smurf or who knows.

Mysticman891 votes

Smurfs and sometimes duoing with other smurfs can result in some pretty crazy winrates. I seem to recall some account that has like a 100% winrate over 300+ games on a certain champ (but like 3% on another champ since they're keeping their mmr relatively low) since they're quite good and they also duo with someone.

Athenes Lulu1 votes

Most likely that account used to belong to a bronze player, and was sold/given to some high elo person.

I will say that it won't be the last time you'll get to see this happening, though.

I agree with this. It's also possible that it was the same player but that account was from when he first started league.

Streamers play to entertain, not to win

https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/5nsf76/dopaapdo_is_sitting_at_a_100winrate_with_more/ top challenger players are fully capable of this if they're tryharding

He is probably just a really good player that bought a low elo account. Apdo managed to go 44-0 last season on an account I think. He also took rank one challenger with something dumb like a 65% winrate.
