Is it any wonder League is a slowly declining..?

When Riot allows people to smurf and receive no punishment for it. Smurfs are literally ruining the experience of genuine new players and destroying lower level games because of this stupid banning system that Riot introduced. All it does is make people at the top end of the game scared to say anything for fear of reports and then when people do, they get slapped down to the lower levels so that new players have to enjoy the toxicity of bitter smurf players?

Basically, Riot is creating an underclass, in which privileged players at the top get 0 toxicity because its all shoved down to the bottom end of the game. It's basically the same as what's happening to the working class in the US and UK today. While Riot pays "lip service", pretending they actually care.

Good business model Riot. League has been in a steady decline for years because of baffling design choices, crazy balance decisions and not enough influx of new players.

I am beginning to believe that Riot designed this system on purpose to continue milking whales before League dies. If a high level player is banned, they have to rebuy all the skins they once had and Riot knows this but encouraging banned players to create new accounts is suffocating genuine players in a sea of toxicity.

Fix this and admit your mistake... please. This is the reason why League is declining because we have gone from being meaningful players that Riot used to listen to, to just numbers that Riot does not care about. Exactly the same as modern politics today.

Those are numbers put out by Riot, we don't know exactly how they've been modified. Most people you see on here and in the game agree that the overall quality of Riot has gone down over the years and Riot has become this faceless entity. Now you can argue but until I see 100% unbiased numbers from an independent source, I am not going to believe those metrics.

I can say I make 10 Million a year but you wouldn't believe me unless I independently verified it? So why is it any different for Riot?

My original points from the post still stand... None of you "Riot Shills" will convince me otherwise of that and there is a lot of Shills in the media today unfortunately.

So you want an independent source to go to riot headquarters, log into their servers and look at the information there? All you're spewing out is conspiracy. Innocent before Guilty. Riot is growing until proven dying. Prove to me that it's dying without using sources like tilted people on the forums.

Every company puts out their own numbers.

op.gg is their own independent source, so this can count ig. it in fact states the exact opposite of the OP's rant (like alot of the boards tilted league is dying threads)

Or, you just want to live in a self-delusion so badly, you cannot consider an alternative. Op.gg is not an independent source because they receive advertising money from Riot. You need to learn what "independent" means.

Youtube has ads for riot. Does that mean youtube is not an independent source? Facebook has ads for riot.

Are you really serious that you think ads means a company is being controlled like a puppet? Hell, some of my youtube videos have league of legends ads on them. I must be a puppet too!

OP.GG has a vested interest in Riot's continual success, they probably wouldn't exist otherwise so I really don't take them for a source of anything accurate.

op.gg isnt only displaying riots data, they also contain data for pubg, fortnite, clash royale, overwatch, and dota 2 auto chess. losing riot =/= they dont have other uses.

and recieveing ad money has absolutely no bearing on how an independent company like op.gg runs, escpecially because if they were that controlled by riot they wouldnt be advertising and supplying data for other games as well, with open advertising.

except you arent prepared to make that claim because you literally cannot prove they recieved anything, much less that all the data is physically available for ANYONE to use, even for you yourself if you felt so inclined. much less how much sense it makes that recieving money for ADVERTISEMENTS TO PROMOTE THE GAME somehow affects the data they get, directly from where its stored.

That most likely is true, but the game is becoming harder to play, and many people have some bad feelings about this game and where its going. I just play bots all day, so many others do the same!

Here come the "Riot shill" downvoting... I'm pretty sure thats on the Riot Games application form as a job qualification.

You must downvote any topic that provides an negative opinion of company image (Even if its true) - would not surprise me. Why are Americans so willing to trust businesses now? Its like they've all been brainwashed, they used to be a lot more critical of companies when they released "statistics".

Smurfs get placed in smurfs queue usually after their first or second PVP game. If you have made smurf accounts or have seen an actual new player play youd notice smurfs aren't very big of a problem
