I could easily climb out of bronze if I wanted too.

Bronze is not a hard division for me, I am able to do well for the most part and have only gotten one feeder score so far. However, I do feel that if I climbed to silver, my games will start being less enjoyable, because that is where the real Elo Hell is at. Hopefully if I do manage to get to Silver, i will find a way to drop back down to Bronze without getting banned.

P.S Perhaps I can ask Riot to lower my MMR so I can stay in bronze forever.

Congratulations. I see that you are on a winning streak in upper Bronze right now with Vlad.

I find that Silver 4 and 5 is a SERIOUS pain. Tons of new accounts get placed there after placements (causing massive skill fluctuation). It took me forever to get past it and I'm still worried about a losing streak taking me back there.

Yes, I really am afraid of getting stuck there :/.

Well you could play to Silver V and then take an exodus from Ranked and just do Normals =)

Once the MMR of Normals gets too high, either continue in Ranked (where you might climb due to improvement) or start a new account with fresh MMR =)

That's not true. I've always been placed in bronze after placements. Silver 5 is where the average player is, not the new people

Hmmm... I dunno

I'm just speaking anecdotally (I have no stats to back this up). But I have a few friends who have absolutely ZERO carry capability in any elo (if they get any kind of lead against Bronze, they will literally throw it right back due to lack of game sense)... played 10 games in Ranked and got Silver 3/4 (and this is with them losing about half of those Ranked placements).

And just as expected, they went on IMMEDIATE drop mode in their next dozen game or so until they reach the edge of Silver 5 and quit ranked.

The system is way too generous.

Having to carry out these "paratroopers" is what makes Silver 4/5 so hard. You literally can't tell which team will have these people and it requires you to play way more aggressively/assertively than in Silver 3-1.

The system is really flawed. In fact, even though your title is Bronze I suspect due to regular combat/training in Ranked you play better than many Silver 4 and 5s. Yet they get to play 15 or so games, get placed there, call it quits and "look better" than you. Fair huh?

good luck

Top of a division usually has players who want to climb and will try hard.

Bottom of a division usually features players with a more lax attitude

Bronze 1 > Silver 5

That's exactly what I'm afraid of, getting newbies.

Wouldn't it be more fun to play against more challenging opponents though? I would think it would be more interesting to see how far you could take yourself on your main.

Hallbuster1 votes

No, it won't be challenging opponents, it will be feeders and more feeders in Silver. Players who are new to the game get placed here, because their MMR hasn't fallen down yet.

Feeders also are on the enemy team...

Truly Prideful1 votes

Sure, but from your other posts you already have feeders? You just fight through it and see how far you can carry yourself. I can't imagine that it would be fun to just sit in the same division forever if you know you're capable of better. That's just my mindset at least, good luck to you regardless.

You have a greater chance of fighting newbies than finding them on your team.

Is there any reason why though? The 44% argument?

Well if u ever get bored with and and want to get a challenge, I think about mid gold is where games start to be more fun and is worth the push. I agree silver is a cancerous elo though, new players should not be placed there, creates huge skill gaps between teams.

being bronze...

what an accomplishment... i'd rather just play normals and stay unranked than have 600 games and still be bronze...

If silver is even worse than bronze, then you should be able to go right through it... Why not just do it if you're better than everyone else? Or is it because you really arent that good, and just happened to find a game where you popped off?

Then just play norms.
