I honestly hate Riven very much and I am thankful that she is no longer popular and powerful

And that is all thanks to itemization changes. Before, there was The Brutalizer, and she got an enormous powerspike with this item. Now she has to spend much more gold to get the actual effect that the old Brutalizer used to have because it has been split into two separate items, meaning that Riven is no longer as powerful early game.

Then, there is the fact that Last Whisper has been changed significantly. Due to those changes, Riven can no longer just rush this item if I am stacking armor against her. Now, my armor can actually be effective against Riven, and if she decides to buy a LDR then her damage will suffer against squishier targets.

Those changes make Riven a much better opponent to fight against at the top lane. Even if she is able to reach full build where she becomes impossible to 1x1, I know that she will be impossible to 1x1 so I will not even try. And with a full damage build she is so squishy that it makes me think "Poor Riven"...

Seriously, I feel that Riven is much less frustrating to play against now after the AD itemization changes.

I always liked playing against Riven. It was free elo. Nowadays all i see are Pantheons, Fioras. Them i cant beat as easily as Riven.

Playing against a good Riven is never fun. At level 2 they burst you to less than half health way too quickly with Animation Cancelling and then they back off, like they're daring you to get closer to your farm again

It is indeed never fun but at least she feels much less frustrating to play against.

I used to hate playing against Rivens and Riven mains are still a pain, but she seems much less oppressive now at least to me. I almost exclusively do Darius up top and as long as I don't play against a Fiora I'm generally happy.

Strange, usually when I play Darius against FIora, I almost always win. The only way that I lose as Darius against Riven is if she manages to get 2 items and I am not completely fed. Then again, she can outduel everyone once she gets 2 items.

Yea once I got better at the Dunkmaster's mechanics I don't have many issues with Rivens unless they're some Riven main with like 2,000 games played as her. With Fiora it's more that I find her annoying and if she TPs anywhere and I can't follow she wrecks face. Funnily enough my friend tried Fiora jg when she was free and he went like 0/5/0 then once he started to scale ended up being a monstrosity for the enemy team. I think it's just her hard scaling and mobility that irk me.
