The Current Draft System Is FAR Too Frustrating

Maybe for competitive people, draft is the best thing ever... but let me tell you, after taking a pretty long break (leveling another account to 30) I've only began to realize one single thing - Blind Draft is far better than the current draft system. The current draft system is horrid. It encourages toxic behavior because players think they own their roles now and they're unwilling to work with their team in order to place everyone where they are best. For players such as myself, who only main one role, we truly get the short end of the stick. You have to pick one other role to doom yourself in, and not only that but after you get mildy decent at that role, the system goes even further to now forcing you to Support.

So tell me, what was the point of changing the system, only to make it so now you fill based on what the "system" wants, instead of based on the players in the lobby? I for one, would much rather be a team player and play what my team needs than to be forced to bend to the will of the matchmaking system. If the system is incapable of giving players a balanced team based on the role which they'd like, then the system simply shouldn't exist. Players should be deciding who Supports among themselves based upon who is better at champions that will fit around what everyone is best at or would like to play. When the system decides for the players, this process no longer occurs because 99% of players seal themselves off and will no longer accept any other role outside of what "they were assigned".

Blind Pick is 100x better than the auto fill cancer plaguing League of Legends right now. Please trash can this garbage feature of the system or give the players back the ability to WORK AS A TEAM and figure out who should be given the unfilled role. While I'm certain a good amount of people probably don't agree, I'd much rather see the double Jungles and two Marksman Bot lanes than have someone on Support who can't Support and is forced into it anyways. I've won a lot of "troll" games where these things occurred, and they were only won because everyone played what they understood the best.

I'm a Top lane player, in the past I was a Support main.. anymore I can't fill as Support because THE INSTANT SUPPORT IS ANYWHERE IN MY ROLE PICKS I'M GIVEN SUPPORT EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm a Top lane player, I don't want to play Support every single game. I want to play Support when no one else can, but according to your system, no one can EVER Support so instead I get forced to Support 99% of the time.

Please don't get me wrong, I love the ability to select a role... the problem is solely HOW the system decides to match people. Instead of forcing players into roles, how about instead tell their team what single "role" they wanted and leave the rest up to the team if multiple mains of a role are on one team? I can almost guarantee that if the system is forced to make a Lobby like this: Mains - Top, Top, Mid, Mid, Marksman, two of those people on the team will be self sacrificing to make it work out and the game is going to be FAR more enjoyable than the huge auto fill mess taking place right now.

I really hope something better than auto fill will be implemented in the future because there are so many other ways out there to handle it better than that.

"Players should be deciding who Supports among themselves based upon who is better at champions that will fit around what everyone is best at or would like to play." a.k.a. whoever got into the lobby last.

"THE INSTANT SUPPORT IS ANYWHERE IN MY ROLE PICKS I'M GIVEN SUPPORT EVERY SINGLE TIME" Riot changed up how secondary roles impact the chance of you getting your primary. For more on that, this.

If you want to be a team player and play what your team wants, you can put fill.

If you're a top lane main put top as primary and you will get it most of the time.

If there are 2 mid lane mains one of them are going to have to play something else unless they want to duo mid.

It's because of autofill that when you put fill, you don't get support as often
